Terrible choice of apartments. I would go anywhere else.
Roaches everywhere, right when we moved in they were there and we have not been able to get rid of them despite multiple requests to maintenance to spray and keeping a clean place.
The maintenance guys loudly mow and do yard work starting way before 830AM on weekdays EVERY WEEK. They broke our bedroom window fixing gutters as well.
The stove was not working upon move in, and there is a lot of shoddy handiwork around the apartment. Screws that stick out of our bathroom vanities from the doors because they were too lazy to find smaller screws that don't go straight through the vanity and poke you in the leg. The deck needed to be replaced, and after calling for weeks they finally did replace the rotted wood. But now they have left it untreated and unstained for the past 6 months.
Management is just out to get your money, it is one of those sites where the lease rates fluctuate day by day because they use an algorithm to compute the rent.
I put an offer in on a house, and went to provide my 30 days notice of intent to vacate and lo and behold, turns out you need to provide a 60 day notice! (Shame on me for not catching that in the lease, but I moved in after a cross country move and this was never talked about - and has never been my experience renting anywhere else). Management did not call to remind us about our lease until after the 60 day window was already past!
There is also lots of random inspections by the maintenance people and they will send out a text on the morning of or day before these inspections. They did 3 or 4 inspections in a 6 month period of me living in the apartment.
IMO it's a predatory rental company. Our downstairs neighbor had a child in chemotherapy - they slapped eviction notices and late payment notices on her front door like it was their passion in life. Keep it classy Lake House Management.
really gorgeous lake!! best in atlanta area!! love to see deers when jogging on the 2.5 miles trail around the lake!
Living at The Lake House is really nice. I have an apartment near the lake and use the trail often. The have amenities on-site and you can also use the numerous HOA amenities. Good location and affordable for the area.
