Apartment was nice and just how we liked it
I just moved here in April because I thought i was getting something descent for my buck. They did not show me my actual apartment because it was not ready. I assumed that was good thing because maybe renovations were happening. Little did I know, that was not the case. Now I believe had I not said anything about my daughter having breating issues, I would not have had a cleaned or new carpet. Janice the previous manager was talking like she had to pratically beg for me to get it. So I thought that was the worse of it. Babyyyyy when I got into that apartment it was filthy. I had to scrub from top to bottom. The floor boards in the kitchen are tore up. Whoever lived there had a roach infestation so dead roaches were in the kitchen cabinets. The painters painted over dead roaches. CAN YOU FREAKING IMAGINE. I literally bombed the apartment myself because it was terrible. I still have a mold filled dishwasher. And you can see where they literally painted over mold. Cabinets broke. Dumpster stay full and running over. It sometimes have the who community stink on a windy day. I haven't had any rats in my home but around that dumpster they are big as cats. It is not a violent community. A couple incidents but nothing directly affiliated with the apartments. So safety wise, so far so good. I stay to myself and I work so it is what it is. The maintenance men do not DO ANYTHING. Now a new management team have taken over. I can't blamed them for the previous people but this place is so tore up... It will take months maybe even years to reverse what the previous ppl has done. And from what I hear, they go through managers like hot cakes so I am not encouraged. I would advise anyone to choose this place as last option, like out of desperation because you are homeless or getting ready to lose your children and have to have a place or something. Please spare yourself the heartache and pain. I have been so depress. Fair Housing Act have been contacted.
Terrible place to live.. they take months to repair things, completely unorganized
