I was called at 4:30PM the day before my move in where they tried to delay my move in because it wasn't ready. They told me over the phone that the countertops would be missing but the shower and sinks would still be functioning. That was false. The apartment was missing countertops AND sinks when I moved in, the bathtubs were not surfaced yet, and the AC Unit did not work. I have lived here for 3 weeks and despite my calls without callbacks the AC Unit still does not work and I'm at the end of my rope. They won't return my calls, they don't keep up with their website maintenance log, they aren't always in the office and I just want to get this fixed. I've never had to deal with an apartment every single day before because I'm fighting to get things working. The other day I had to call maintenance to plug in the dishwasher because it wasn't fully installed and was missing wires. When maintenance came to take a look they told me "That's construction's job, we don't do that." Well construction hasn't shown up since the first couple days I moved in and won't give me a call with any update. I also still do not have a mail key meaning I can't collect my checks from my work to even pay them. I have dipped into my savings to pay them but I cannot actually get my money until I can get a mail key which they have informed me several times that "They are getting made". I just want to live in my apartment but I'm jumping over unnecessary hoops and hurdles to get just the basics working.

Contacted them via email and phone messages with no response. Transferring to the area and they advertised as being short term etc

Previous Management Company
I give this community 4 stars only because there is always room for improvement. I and my daughter have both been here 6 years. We have lived here through three management companies and the company SMP is far better than the others. I must say the staff is very attentive to all questions and concerns. Tameka and Justin are amazing at answering questions to the best of their ability and making certain problems with unit matters get handled promptly. The maintenance team is also the best. They get in and address the problems right away. Neighboring residents are respectful of one another and noice is kept to a minimum. The only complaint I have is people should not be able to store barbecue grills on their patios because after the office closes people definitely use their grills. I have on many occasions witnessed grill flames shooting up to the ceilings on patios and believe this could be controlled by not allowing personal charcoal or gas burning grills to be stored on patios period. Great location, clean grounds, attentive community staff, respectful neighbors and limited problems. I really enjoy living here.
