Laurel Hills Preserve

Please do not fall for specials offered by Laurel Hills Preserve Apartments. My experience is that it is a dump. The entry gates do not work. There are unbelievable speeders. Management ignores serious safety concerns. The residents here seem to have no pride in where they live. On my walks each day I see take-out food containers (including the leftover food), condoms that appear to be used (I didn't pick up and check), garbage thrown out of windows (I have actually seen people do this.), frequently closed amenities (especially pools) .... the list goes on. Especially if you have children who might want to play in or around the parking lots. The residents here apparently have little regard for their neighbors' safety. Please please please .... I am begging you to avoid this place like the plague. Also, please be aware that because this is private property, the police cannot help you (due to a law that I will try to get changed). I am also going to work on changing Georgia's Safe at Home Act to include parking lots. There are a few random sidewalks. However, your choice is to either walk in the parking lot or in the grass where you are likely to walk in dog poop ..... because people don't pick up after their pets here. And, that "rule" is not enforced here.

My "fully equipped" kitchen does not include a microwave. There is building debris and various other trash around my building. I put in a maintenance request with minimal cleanup. On multiple occasions I have seen residents throw trash out of their car windows. This is not a secured property. The gates are not in working order. This place is crumbling before my eyes. Now there is a black corvette with orange trim racing through the parking lot every day to let his "home boy" know that he is in the neighborhood. My recommendation....avoid this property like the plague.

This place is a joke. The office staff is a joke. They never seemed to care to help with any issues and were just terrible at their job. The property looks nice in the front and at the office but reminder of the property is a dump not to mention they place was built back in like the 80s. My apartment wasnt ready when I moved in. Paint hadnt been touched up from stuff that was mounted on walls. Save yourself the hassle and go live in a newer complex with a much friendlier staff.
