I lived there for 5 1/2 years the quality of the property has gone down. The quality of life at this location is not great. We are overrun with roaches. The management is very disrespectful. Its overall handle at the property is rude and disrespectful to your needs. The rent is high and they have no upgrades. If you take a garden apt you have a lot of moisture in the apartment. That cause mold on the windows and the walls in the closets. the moisture causes all the light fixture to rust. Every time you ask for something they have to look into it. If the Maintenence guys come to fix something they halfway fix what you complained about and break the same thing somewhere else. If you are renting apt 601. Please be aware of the mold and water damage. I got flood three times. I got a flood in April then again in June. The response was not good. The assistant manager is a rude nasty. He tells us that the fans they brought to dry the carpet are dry in the walls. It took me 6 calls the night I got flood out for anyone to come to my apartment. Then another week to get new carpet. Then they came to see the cabinet needed changing threw out the apartment. They came twice still no new cabinet. I have moved out since 11/30. I still can get a walkthrough to get my deposit. If your rent at Paxton Lane is aware of the treatment of the manager and the assistant manager. They feel as they can talk to you anyhow and it is fine. Your paying your rent and should not ask for anything. They do not clean the breezeway as they use too. If you rent 601 please beware of the people upstairs. You will catch a case for them. They feel they are the only people living there. They throw food and anything else they want downstairs. Every time I write a review is the only way I get to get the manager attention. I call and she is not unavailable. You send emails and they never see it. Everyone who has been a long time residents have moved out. The price you will pay for white old appliances and thing
We have been here going on our 3rd year-amazing , quiet place-Amazing staff and the Maintenance staff -out standing. . Good schools, shopping and restaurants, all near by.
Would recommend this place if you are looking for a nice, peaceful apartments!
Maintenance is slow to respond and will only respond quickly when you place the complaint on the computer. They will say they are doing things like sitewide pest control, etc. but no one actually comes by. The older apartments are not well kept or given quality repairs. Wasps in the fireplace, mildew in the shower (that they cover up with caulking), leaky showerhead, water stains on the ceiling (covered up by spray paint), old hvac unit that will run up your bill, etc. There are much worse places to live but there are also much better places to live. Make sure you see and walk YOUR unit before moving in and take notes of the features they claim will also be in your apartment. The water, sewage, gas, electric costs $300+ here monthly in an old unit...probably thanks to the issues mentioned earlier. The grounds are kept decent, they have community events, the staff presents as friendly, the schools are nearby, it's off of 78, and near shops/restaurants.
