Awesome new upgrades!
I made an appointment to learn more about Arium Kennesaw and potentially rent an apartment, and I was disgusted. There is basically no security, the place is extremely outdated, and they refuse to show you any of the floorplans other than the one model they have set up. The model they have is fine, but then they tell you that all of the updates in the model won't be in the apartment you would be in. Don't be fooled by its great location. The rent is way too high for what you are getting. I would never recommend someone to live in this community.
I was lied to by leasing agent Annika who said the apartment had new cherry wood cabinets. When I finally got to see the apartment on move-in day after having paid the $150 and $50 fees August 21st to hold it and then the rest of the fees Oct. 10th, 2017, you can imagine my shock at seeing cabinets that had the paint pulled up from the shelves inside to the point where I cant use them because theyre too badly damaged and too disgusting for view. As for the carpet, it had old stains everywhere, as well as sheetrock dust and paint dust. Luckily, I had my apartment at Parkside at Town Center until Oct. 25th and could have ZeroRez clean and sanitize the carpet. It had old pet stains and who knows what other kinds of stains on it. The blinds were filthy with dirt, the ice maker broken(Annika said on the 10th she meant to get a bucket to put all the ice that it was making), and the heat has stopped working three times. Im not going to use the dishwasher because it has brown stains covering the bottom. The closet poles have been painted and are chipping. I dont dare use them otherwise my clothes will have paint dandruff. The apartment is dank and smells like a garage filled with old socks and chemicals. Management seems to allow people to stack up old, ripped up sofas on their patio. So nasty! Then, I discovered water underneath the sink on the floor of the new cherry wood cabinet. But wait, I soon discover there was water underneath the bathroom sink, too. And guess what? The shower leaked, too! At this point, Im afraid to drink the water, because what else is wrong with this apartment, lurking where I cant see it. I keep buying jugs of water to drink and to wash my utensils and dishes. It took three weeks to get rid of all the bugs and spiders. I used boric acid and Cedarcide, but I still keep my things in clear plastic bags. I guess they cater to the college student who doesn't care about all the above. As for me, I'm counting down every day that I'm closer to l
