I recently moved into Parke at Oakley and within two days I come across three gigantic roaches and Im becoming certain they have family. This is beginning to look like the beginning of one huge mistake on my part. Save yourself the regret.... choose elsewhere.
I just moved in and I am very dissatisfied with my apartment and the way the grounds and the outside of the apartments look. It looks like it needs a face lift. The outside of the apartments and stairwells need to be pressure washed because it looks nasty and dirty. It would not be a bad idea to repaint the buildings either because the white looks dingy and dirty.I have paid to live good everywhere I have lived and the prices were the same as this one. This place is making my skin crawl.
As a current resident, I say some of this with a heavy heart. The maintenance staff are great and they do a good job at keeping the grounds picked up. The apartments are not bad. We have been dealing very rude and noisy neighbors above us in 622 for over six months. This is beyond regular apartment noise. We have reported this disturbance in writing and by phone call. We have even called the police because it is so bad. The new regional manager Sabina means well and is very professional. Even she does not have the power nor authority to control rude and noisy neighbors, as she has found out. What a slap in the face. The options given to us where to move out or to move to another apartment. Unless you move to the third floor, you take the chance of your above neighbors keeping you up at night and just being very noise stomping on the floor because you reported them and they know there is nothing that can be done to them. The landscape of this residence/neighborhood has changed over the past year. If you are looking to move to this property for peace and quiet and want that perfect neighbor,,,,,,,,,,, I would ask several questions multiple times from several residents. Make sure you get home at a good time in the evening. There is never enough parking and Fulton County writes tickets weekly for parking next to the curb. Make sure you understand the lease policies.
When I first moved here under different mgmt. any issues were addressed. The new mgmt do not handle complaints in a timely fashion, if at all. Noise, heavy walking, children running can be heard from unit above very well and although we complain, nothing has changed. The noise continues. Dog poop through out grassy areas.
Its not worth the money. We're moving soon!
