Do not let the spacious apartments fool you management is horrible and parking is awful. Fixing anything is half done . Pet waste can be found right outside your door.
We moved in mid December paying prorated amount calculated by leasing agent James & getting the keys from the manager Melissa. Two weeks later we received a letter on our door saying we owed money and if we did not pay we would have to go to court. We went to the leasing office asking for an explanation but as holidays where right around the corner they said come back on January 3 because they just switched system so it must be a glitch. Few days later water pipe bursted from the 3rd floor into our 1st floor unit. Only solution they offered was it drys on its own & the wet padding will be replaced and water damage on the wall we can slap some pain on it .
When we go in to settle these extra charges , that werent on the lease or anywhere in writing, they tell us it was a math mistake by leasing agent. I get everyone makes mistakes but not only did they make the mistake we had to pay the extra amount and there was no way around it. Apparently the manger does not double check anything.
Asking for options of either terminating the lease or moving into a new unit, as they were refusing to switch the carpets, saying mold takes years to form and we will be okay, Melissa with a horrible attitude says if we move you to a new unit you have to pay application fees again. & wow you are going to terminate your lease for $ UNPROFESSIONAL .
We decided to terminated two days after. In the process of moving out we had another notice on our door saying we owe the full month of December s rent letter dated on the 1st. We were not even in there system on the 1st .
Weather its a system glitch or not management is poor, unprofessional and treat people as if they are stupid.

Overall, my sister and i enjoyed our stay at Dunwoody Gables. Perfect location! Convenient to everywhere we need to drive to, close to 285/400. Lots of shopping and restaurants within the area we are living in. The gables community staff are always great!
I love the staff! They are great! The community is well kept, the area is convenient, great shopping and good restaurants. The complex makes you feel like you're on a vacation. The maintenance staff is very prompt and responsive. They get to know their residents here and make you fell at home.
It's a great community and I have loved it so far.
