This is the absolute worst community you could EVER get stuck in a lease in. HORRIBLE. They force you to pay for a "valet trash" service that doesn't pick up and you can't opt out for it. Took them over 6 months to fix a leak in the bathroom that resulted in a moldy wall. Still have a ton of maintenance issues and am dealing with corporate since their maintenance guys destroyed my couch. Do yourself a favor and RUN far away from this property as well as any other Highmark Residential property. If you do choose to live here, invest in security cameras for your house and your car. At least the residents are less criminal than management.
Only one word to describe this place, "trash." Leasing office staff is okay, but that's because they can't do anything themselves without having management approval. Even if you have an issue and you explain it to the leasing staff, they can't do anything. They give one day notice for everything. And I mean everything. When it comes to construction - you're lucky to even get a notification. They pressure wash the building, but my apartment gets flooded and they do nothing. If only their "timely" actions were up to par with taking out valet trash. You're paying for them to take out the trash, but it's never done on time and the dumpster is always full, what is up with that?
Honestly, if you can, just pay a little more and live in the apartment complexes that's literally next door.
Ive lived here for several years the staff as changes so much I dont even bother trying to keep up. If you go to them with an issue they handle you as if your the problem no matter how polite and factual you are about your complaint. The roaches OWN this complex you pay for them to spray but you have to tell them to actually come spray the trash is never picked up from the door or the big collector loud music neighbors sound like they own a bowling alley upstairs. Location is good community is fairly safe and diverse. Communication from leasing office to resident needs to improve and apartments need major updates.
