Everything has been renovated and updated. New patio furniture, new grills, outdoor gazebo with t.v. and fireplace, new grass and landscaping around pool area. Buildings and balconies were also painted. Good maintenance and pest control. Gated entrance and underground parking. Excellent location and views of the city. Power bills are high in the summer. That might be due to older model furnaces and air conditioning units.
The front office staff are awesome and extremely helpful. Everyone in the community is friendly!
I love the location and my apartment itself. I've been living there for years and have had been through different management. However, I have had many issues with my apartment, mostly with water leaks, mold, and pests. Some of these issues I have repeatedly had to deal with whether that be the issue was not correctly fixed or I couldn't get someone there to fix it. As far as recreational amenities. The pool area is beautiful, the gym is great (when all the treadmills actually work) and I feel safe in my area. I do feel improvements could be made but the location and the price are keeping me living at the Stratford.
Just moved from the Stratford to another apartment in Sandy Springs. It's been a night a day experience.
Here's the story:
I was moving back to GA from CA on a few month's notice and had to pick an apartment sight unseen. The apartments looked nice online (they aren't bad in person and pricing is decent for what you get) so I applied. I got great engagement for the first week or 2 and then Brittanie goes silent for around a month and a half.
I FINALLY get a response almost a week before I have to move back and schedule an appointment to transfer my insurance and whatnot over there. When I got there, we walked in on a conversation between her and her manager talking trash about me (They actually said my name and we heard it).
Maintenance is a joke. I've been to apartments that do the minimum to get the job done, but they go below that bar. As other people have mentioned, I have had job requests get "completed" without anyone showing up at the apartment.
The staff is unresponsive to emails and the address you are supposed to be emailing changes often (at least in my case, I have 4 emails I was told to reach out to).
On top of that, the water is turned off somewhere in the complex at least 4 times a week. And you get emails about every instance. Sometimes more than one. It's ridiculous and I've never experienced that before.
I'm happy to be away from this complex and am looking forward to settling this last fine they claim I'm responsible for.
My experience has been awful. The pictures attached are from the day I moved in (this is only some of the many). Things were broken and the unit has a serious bug problem/infestation. I have lived in a few apartments and have never seen a bug problem this bad. The valet trash system is a joke. You pay for valet trash but you still have to take your trash out??? They have a parking spot designated for trash. Everyday there are piles of trash in the parking lot. The units are old and beat up. My unit is currently leaking water and completely soaked all of my clothes. I spoke with maintenance they said there was a clogged pipe which caused the leak. He went on to say the pipes should be cleaned yearly but obviously mine was not... yet this is my problem to deal with. Stratford management said things like can happen and they are not responsible for any damage caused to my things. I simply asked that they pay for dry cleaning and they declined. I asked if this happened again and was told I would be responsible for any damage caused to my things. I asked the manager to call me back to discuss and of course nobody has called. Whenever I go up to the leasing off of course the manager is not there.
