Post Chastain has a lot of good qualities but when its bad, its bad! Weve been reporting black mold for over a year and each time they just cover it up until it comes back again. The people in the office could not less helpful. The most recent time we reported mold, they didnt send out a maintenance crew until four days later. We have been displaced three different times and only once did they offer to let us stay in the guest apartment. This place has majorly gone downhill. Not worth it one bit.

Beware of pricing. The monthly rent is not what you will actually pay. They tack on 100-150 worth of fees each month, so factor that in. I don't appreciate being deceived, which is why I've given them such a low rating. I was very specific about my monthly living budget, and I'm now going over that budget every month as a result of those unmentioned fees. The apartments are ok, but small and antiquated for the cost when you consider the true expense. Additionally, parking is an issue and they do not have enough spaces for all the residents, so if you don't get a parking space and have to park on a curb, they give you a ticket and add that to your monthly rent. Yeah, let that sink in. They don't provide enough resident parking, and then charge YOU a fee for not having access to a parking space.

I have lived here for 1 week and have had nothing but bad experiences ever since I moved in. I was told that I would be able to rent a laundry machine and dryer for inside my apartment but come to find out my apartment doesn't even have the space for it. I go to use the communal laundry room and none of the machines will even work. I was told all the ceiling fans have lights attached to them and come to find out our ceiling fan in the bedroom has no light. They continually try to add extra charges onto my account which I have to refute with them every time and I am sick of it. Management is a bunch of 20-year-olds who would rather try to be your friend than actually do their job. I can't wait to spend the next 14 months in this miserable place.

Old building, new counters, high rental rate. Nice gym and monthly food events like pancake breakfast. Gated which is nice. Covered parking with guaranteed space costs extra. No major issues. Just wish theyd spray more often without having to continually call.
