I will make it my mission o go on every platform and give this place a thorough review so that people will not be bamboozled by the appearance of this community but are unaware by the unprofessionalism and lack of customer service at this apartment complex.

Earlier this month I came in and toured. I was SOLD. Chris was able to find me an Azeala with a washer and dryer for a rate of 955/month. This was a great deal because if you are family with Madison only the Beech floor plans has a washer and dryer which he quoted me for 994/month. That day I went home, applied and was approved for Unit 924.

I was dealing with Xavier throughout the process; he handeld my paper work but was a little slow in replying to my emails---nonetheless I was not moving until May 22 so I was not too pressed as of yet.

Two weeks after signing I received an call from the leasing agent that toured the complex with me saying he thought I was applying. I informed him that I did and that I was approved for Unit 924. He asked me to give him my name and when I looked it up in the system I was assigned to Unit 1024. I am furious--I specifically only wanted to move to this apartment because I was reassured that 924 had a washer and dryer for the cheaper rate than the Beech. He went to inspect Unit 1024 and it only had a washer.

A non-negotioable for me moving was to have a washer and dryer. Once I spoke to the assistant community manager Paige, she informed me she knew about me situation from LAST WEEK and that the tenant from unit 924 informed the office she no longer wanted to move, so the moved me to an apartment that was "comparable." However, NO ONE from the office called me and communicated this to me.

Dont move here unless you are the kind of person who is completely cool living with large roaches.
Ever since I moved in, under the previous management company Viera, I have been dealing with large sewer roaches. Viera management tried to spray but it did not work, they even moved me up to the top floor to try to accommodate, but it was in the same building (go figure), BUT at least they tried to do something. I have even went as far as to purchase pest control on my own, which only goes so far because they can only treat my unit and not the building and grounds. I have seen an uptick in my apartment as of recent. They are large and they are disgusting. Maybe it's the time of year, but I refuse to go through the same thing I did when I first moved in. I WENT TO THE LEASING OFFICE AND SPOKE WITH A NUMBER OF MADISON AGENTS AND MANAGERS, THEY ALL REALLY SEEMED LIKE THEY WANTED TO HELP, EVEN ASKING ME FOR MY PEST CONTROL RECEIPTS... TELLING ME ABOUT THE ACTION THEY WOULD OR COULD TAKE ON THEIR PART...AND THEN? I HEAR NOTHING - NOT A PEEP. NO ONE GETS BACK TO ME EVER. At least Viera tried to help, I'll give them that. This is unacceptable! I have severe allergies and can tell when there is an upsurge because it affects my health. But like I said, if youre one of those folks who doesnt mind paying a sizeable rent to share your living space with ROACHES ( No matter how clean you are), then by all means, have at it.

So I never write a review but I just had to because the new company that took over have been really annoying. I've been living on the property for 3 years now. Recently, Viera Briarcliff switched management and it hasn't been the same ever since. The staff that worked when Viera Briarcliff was still running things were amazing. LaCheryl , Kesia and Allen ... you guys are missed tremendously. They were very personable and got things done. The leasing agents with the Madison Company are just not cutting it. You can tell they really don't know what they're doing.
Incident #1: Recently, our apartment was broken in to and they allowed us to switch apartments. Due to the fact it was the first of the month and I already paid full rent...I asked management to cover move in/utility switch over fees for the inconvenience due to the fact I agreed to not break my lease . The site manager at that time said "NO" and I was forced to call the corporate office who then agreed to honor my wishes. ( Mind you, that was the 4th time someone attempted to rob our first floor apartment. And they took their sweet time moving us since the first incident).
Incident #2: Many rules have changed without notifying or sending out memos to the residents. Such as: Having the police come out and close the pool at 10:00 pm every night ( V. Briarcliff never closed the pool. Everything on site was 24hr use.) and forcing us now to use the online portal to pay rent now (It's $5 extra just to pay on the portal).
Incident #3 : Lastly, I rushed home from work on Saturday to retrieve my package that was left in the leasing office. I arrived a few mins after 5pm to see the leasing agent outside collecting money orders from residents. Upon finishing, I asked her if she can take me to get my package. Her response " Its after 5pm and we are closed. They won't allow me to give you a package once we are closed". Grant it , you guys are "closed" but your not closed enough to collect rent money????
