Worst front desk staff Ive ever seen in my life. Cant wait for my lease to be up. Should have listened to the reviews before I moved in.
If I could give this complex less than one star I would. At first this complex appears posh and serene and comes at a price way cheaper than their neighbors. Once you sign the lease forget any helpful front desk or management you may have worked with prior.
During my time there my AC broke three times. Their idea of fixing it was giving me a portable unit for a week until they felt like dealing with the issue. I got stuck in the elevator on two occasions. My apartment had ants coming in from the DISHWASHER AND BATHTUB, when I called to tell them they told me I had to wait a WEEK TO GET ANYONE TO LOOK AT IT. There are roaches everywhere on the property. And Im not just talking about the staff. The on-site trainer/IT guy spend his days creeping on female at the gym.
The front desk also lost my packages on numerous occasions. One of which happened to be my husbands wedding band.
The parking is crap if you have more than one car youll have to fight for a visitor spot but dont stay there too long because theyll tow you.
Overall I wouldnt want even my worst enemy to live here. The experience was so awful.
Has the absolute worst customer service, Josh (Leasing Manager) and Billy have to be two of the most disengaged employees I have ever dealt with. I'm relocating from another state and I called Monday Josh quoted me on an apartment, I asked him to email what needed to be done, 3 almost 4 hours later I call back and get another associate who told me Josh just leased that same apartment. When I asked for the Property Manager he told me that he was the Leasing Manager and the Property Manager wasn't there. Today when I call, I got Billy, who was rude and disengaged cause I asked him how his day was and I started to explain my situation, when I asked him why he was disengaged he said "I am just trying to figure out what you need from me", I then was transferred to Josh where he picked up the phone laughing and had a very condescending tone. I then asked to speak with the Property Manager but she was in a meeting and she doesn't have a voicemail. I understand that me not being there isn't ideal but I could have gotten all my information over to you and ensured I have a place to call home, no matter how good the special is I wouldn't move in here based on the fact of how my phone calls were handled. Since I could not speak with the Property Manager I have called the Regional Manager and the VP of Operations to ensure they know how her staff is handling prospective residents.
BELIEVE THE REVIEWS and save yourself the trouble. Deserves zero stars. You get what you pay for and there is a reason these apartments are so cheap. Living in the Arbor Gates community is a complete nightmare. First off, this is not a get even review. It has become obvious that the only way to make change is to complain. I am kicking myself for renewing my lease and being stuck here another year. Staff genuinely does not care for tenants concerns. Eye-rolls are abundant. Staff turnover is VERY high in the office. Brittany, the former Office Manager did an awesome job but probably left due to poor support from her superiors (and her unknowledgeable, ever-changing support staff). There is NO information in regards to a headquarter office listed anywhere on their website or online information anywhere, but I was given an information handout during a recent maintenance visit, which may be helpful to many:

PARKING: Parking is assigned, one spot for a one bedroom/two for a two bedroom. If someone is in your spot, you are forced to parked in one of the VERY FEW visitor spot which are ALWAYS full. So you are basically left to fend for yourself/park at target/ someone else's spot/the front office. When you call to have a car towed, you have to call the office or after hours line and send an email with a picture attachment of your spot and license plate of the parked car. Good luck getting your call answered after hours. The car usually will leave on its own as towing takes a lifetime if they even show. It sounds petty but happens very frequently and gets old fast. A towing enforcement sign or notice of some sort would be helpful.
Bugs are abundant and even if you self spray and keep your apartment spotless, they still find a way in. Large roaches out of your ceiling vents, people! Packages are a pain and have gone missing. Pros: Location & Maintenance is awesome.
