Overall safe place to live. Maintenance is slow to repair. I'm currently waiting on a work order from over a month ago. But rent had better be on time. Office staff can be moody.
Overall the outside and inside look wonderful, until you look in depth. There's mold around our window seals as well as in the hot water room, told the office several times and yet nothing has been done. Had a repair done almost a month a go and was told they would return a few days later, they never came back. The windows are also so old that air seeps in and out, making it hot in the summer and the apartment is so humid it makes it hard to breath when you walk in unless a/c is constantly running but even then the a/c doesn't cool it down too well. Since we moved in we'be had constant headaches and I've contracted a rash somehow. Not really a healthy environment for older folks, children, or anyone with health issues. If they would properly clean and maintain the insides of the building, overall it may be a great place. But they haven't too much done so over the years.
It's quiet and clean. Love that it's pet friendly.
I don't live there anymore because as each year passed the service got worse and the rent went up. There were 4 different management companies.
We moved in May 2013 and the property was sold to another company soon after. They did lots of cosmetic updates inside the apartments so they were always in and out of our unit for a couple of months. Kind of a pain. On the plus side the walls are very thick so you only hear things through the front door due to lack of weatherstripping. We stayed for 3 years with disturbances about 3 x a week due to visitors/parties or loud car audio systems. We were in an upstairs unit with minimal insects.
