My 1 year lease is almost up and I'm still waiting for maintenance to fix the things we spoke about during the walk through. Office employee turnover rate is sad, I've seen about 6 different front desk people and they don't stay. Literally every month you hand rent to someone new so that explains why I'm still waiting on maintenance who also has a high turnover rate. The pictures they post are the "newer" apartments, certainly not what I am living in. Everything is backwards from the closet door openings, to the way the fridge was installed in the kitchen, to the hot water actually being cold and cold water actually being hot. Insulation is poor so I pay a pretty penny for electricity even though I spent money on high quality blackout curtains. Pest control is not a thing, they have never come by except the first time I reported ants and other insects coming in from the broken bedroom window they still have not replaced from before I moved in. The office doesn't order an apropriate number of air filters, so they always run out and I have had to purchase my own for the past 4 months. They said to replace about every 3 months but thanks to the building and poor quality air conditioning I replace the filter monthly. The floors boards are weak and uneven. They cleaned what the eye could glance over so I had to clean the entire place before bringing my things in. The bedroom carpet had dog hair from the previous renter, the bathtub was beginning to form water mold around the faucet and in between the caucking. The fire alarm in the bedroom also does not work, I have replaced the batteries and nothing, still waiting for that to be replaced by the office as well. Since the bedroom window was broken, my first day moving in I had to fight a wasp angrily flying around the room. The pool looks nice but water is disgustingly cloudy at times and filled with particles. On the plus side: The location is nice, water is included, and no one bothers you.
