The ladies at the office are absolutely wonderful. However, maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. I have had quite a few issues since moving in, relating to plumbing. The appearance looks nice when you move in, but I would suggest running all the faucets to make sure they are working, and the tub stoppers are the type that twist to open and close. It took 2 worker orders to fix faucets, the same 2 work orders for the tub stoppers and they have not been fixed. Both sides of the kitchen sink were leaking and the dishwasher was disgusting, stained, clogged, old food in it when I moved in. They said the dishwasher was just clogged, put some type of draino in it, and left the nasty stuck on food from previous tenant. When I kept pushing for it to get fixed, it took 2 1/2 weeks to replace it, as they need approval from corporate. I was told all appliances take @ 10 days to be replaced due to their procedures. The faucet also ran water at one time, non stop, steady running. Next issue, when I used the master bath, the water leaked down into the apartment downstairs. It was supposed to be fixed, so yet again, the creepy jerk from downstairs was knocking on my door at 10pm. Take into account, he lives with his girlfriend but chooses to knock on my door late at night, total disrespect they know I live there alone. It took 2x to stop the shower from leaking into downstairs apartment. The latest issue, my tub is peeling terribly, to the point you cannot use it. So it appears nice when you move in, but they paint a coating over the old tub. I put in a service ticket Friday, requested a status update. It has been 3 business days, they work Saturday, I will give them Sunday, but no update. The website says you will be updated in 1 business day, which would have been Monday. Nothing. That is my biggest problem, I don't like people in and out of my home numerous times to fix things, which are never fixed on the first try.
We recently moved into our one bedroom + den apartment at The Landings at Cypress Meadows. The apartment had been recently updated and looked excellent. We love it here, the staff is friendly and the grounds are kept up nicely.
I lived in these apartments for about 5.5 years. The first 4 years were fine for the most part. I would see the occasional roach, but hey, its Florida. But, the last year and a half, I saw cockroaches EVERY day. This is no exaggeration, I saw anywhere from 5 -10 roaches every day. Some were babies and others were adults. Id be eating at my kitchen table and a roach would appear on it. I even found them crawling on my legs and sofa a few times! The leasing office did spray when I asked and I even had two clean-out treatments. No matter how clean I kept the place, I saw roaches. I asked the pest control technician what else could be done and he said nothing really, they would just keep spraying. I cant imagine it was just my apartment, but to my knowledge they did nothing to treat the whole building, other than spraying each apartment once every 3 months. I urge you to think carefully before renting here. I left when my lease was up because of the roach problem. Its a shame because generally the maintenance is good and they keep the grounds clean.

Please read all my review before moving. 1. First month they told us we can pay online guess what they didn't accept the payment because the account was unknown to them. ??? $135 plus $34 return check from the bank. Guess what on the 6th of December 2017 I went to the book keeper office 45 min away from cypress Meadows and the lady was on the phone talking to someone from cypress Meadows that just recently moved in having the same problem I had with the fees. 2. No parking at all. 3. Only one garbage for the whole community always getting overfilled 4. Water leak from upstarts. 5. Good luck driving up north it will take you 4 to 8 min to make a u turn a radius of one mile. 6. The office does not accept any payment that's has to do with rent you have to send it out to New Jersey. 7. If you want out of here you have to pay your full lease. If is 5 month it's $5,000. That's what's happening to us and everyone that moves here. 8. The blowers going off every morning dirting your car and waking you up. 9. They will come in for inspection all the time and no they won't tell you. 10. No 24 hour notice for pest control or any of their mainence at least on my unit. 11. They will tow your car. Make sure have your sticker if not you will not have a car in the morning. The are strict about it. They will call a tow truck on you.Keep looking. 12. The office is only for renting purpose not for any problems you have with the apartment. You have to call others or write a letter telling someone about your problems. I have tons of video and proof of the problems I have been having.Keep looking. Not worth the hassle.
