Good experience staying in rocky creek.
So far my resident experience has been great. the few issues I have had has been resolved extremely quickly. the neighborhood is quiet and the people are friendly. the staff is amazing thus far moving here from VA :)
I've lived here for over 3 years, and up until today, I would have rated these apartments as a good place to live. I have had constant mold and pest issues in my apartment, but the staff had always been responsive to treat the issues, although full remediation was never offered.
But today changed that. The last 3 years, our rewards program included an option to forgive a late payment fee. We never used any of the other available awards, such as a painted accent wall, or carpet cleaning, so that we could utilize the late fee forgiveness if needed. After 3.5 years of faithful payments, we were late on one because we were on vacation and had spotty internet coverage. We thought the payment went through, but it didn't. We returned two days before the rent was due, unaware of the failed payment. When the rent came due, no one from the office notified us that the payment was late until after the grace period and a $200 late charge was assessed. Even then, they could not bring themselves to inform us in a friendly manner. Instead of attempting to reach out to us personally, they left a notice on the door that resembled an eviction notice, demanding we pay them, as if we had refused to do so previously. We were home at the time and they didn't even bother to knock to ensure we received the notice. Instead they folded it to fit between the knob and the door frame, completely unsecure otherwise. After receiving the notice, I asked about the late fee forgiveness. The apartment manager said he would ask. Two days later he says no. The reward program changed to give out gift cards instead. I'm active duty military and I've been a loyal community member for 3.5 years. I've always shown my thanks to the management, often by bringing them donuts and desserts. I am moving this winter and I cannot wait until I'm gone. The new management staff is discourteous and Gables policy change is abhorrent. I do not recommend this apartment, especially to military members moving to Tampa.
I would NOT recommend living here at all ! Have had sever all issues from maintaince workers coming into my home without permission , to our garage not opening and having to be late to work and my son late for school. They have excuses after excuses as to why things don't work and won't do a thing about it . NOT SATISFIED!!
I just love Rhonda Reed. She was so nice, very helpful. Took care of things. Very professional.
