Beautiful modern tower, can't wait to see how the resort level turns out
Obscenely loud music from Franklin Manor until 3am everynight except Sunday and Monday makes it impossible to sleep. The Manager is NEVER here and apathetic to tenant complaints if she even bothers responding. I live here now and I whole-heartedly regret it; DO NOT MOVE HERE, youve been warned.
We've been here a month, and despite trying to make the best of it because the manager (lied) said they would do what it takes to resolve the issue we are finding ourselves more miserable each passing day. As a point of reference, I've lived in a luxury high rise before in South Florida, where the night clubs are open until 5 AM. I never had this many issues not only with noise but with such terrible management. I've decided to create bullet points to make this an easier read.
-The unit we were originally leased failed inspection. We were notified last-minute that we would not be able to move in and had to scramble to sort that out days before our move. The entire north-facing units from 6-10 are part of that so I would beware if you are planning to lease one of them.
-The elevators at one point over the Christmas weekend were all completely out of service. This happened after ourselves and our family were briefly stuck in the far-left elevator. The elevator dropped half a floor before stopping completely. We were uncertain if and when it would resume. This was not only embarrassing but terrifying. We have been settling with just one elevator for almost a week.
-The freight elevator has also been out of service, making it impossible for us to throw out boxes as needed. How a 24-story building can have all of its 4 resident elevators out of service at once baffles me. We are paying a premium to live like this?!
-The week we moved in, we had construction employees entering the unit unannounced and unauthorized on 3 separate occasions. A clear violation of our leasing agreement and our privacy. The management "fixed" the issue by taping a sign to our door so that they wouldn't come in. If you travel through the building you will see these ghetto signs taped to the doors on the units that are rented.
-The manager is never here and extremely difficult to get in touch with.
We are moving out after only one month of being here. Don't put yourself through this
As much as we love the building, sleep is impossible here. The nightly noise from Franklin Manor is unbearable. Every night from 6 or 7 until 230 in the morning, the club plays loud music and bass. We are on the 23rd floor facing away from the club and we hear the music word-for-word in our entire unit. We haven't slept in days. It's absolutely horrible. We will be moving out despite the high costs. If you are a college
Student, this is the place for you. If not, don't put yourself through this misery.
