I was asked to submit an email to cancel my reservation for apartment that I was planning on moving into by the end of December, 2017.

Oct 28, 2017 I visited the location and attempted to complete application an online. The web site was not correct in the fees I was given verbally by the assistant manger whom showed my wife and I the location. I called in and inquired about availability and the fees for late December occupancy. I understood that the $99.00 deposit would be applied to the 1st months rent. I was verbally express approval for occupancy and $159.00 payment was processed on October 30, 2017 form my bank account. The following week I called several times to get documents in writing and was told that no documents or lease would be provided to sign until closer to the move in date that was undetermined because the last build was still in construction and no date was set for occupancy. My daughter was in town and my family made another visit to show her the complex and I again asked for documents to sign for occupancy. I was given the same answer that no lease or documents that could be signed due to the construction was not complete. As of today November 19,2017 the apartment is still under construction with no date for occupancy.

This week my employment has asked me to move from Tallahassee so I called today to ask what I needed to do to receive my refund. I was told the transition was a purchase and it was non refundable and it was company policy. I expressed that a purchase requires a transition of a product. The apartment rep today could not explain how when no documents signed your company can hold to a non refundable deposit. She keep saying its a purchase and its company policy. I asked for the property manager to contact me about this and I was expressed that the manager would contact me . At this point I am asking for the property manager to call me with in 72 hours. I am also asking for my full $159.00 due to no documents provide or signed

I apologize for this, our usual policy is that after 72 hours when someone cancels that the hold money is forfeited, however it does not apply to new construction. You will be fully refunded. We apologize for the miscommunication and will make this situation right. We are dedicated each and everyday to customer service and making our residents love their homes.

Looks pretty on the outside and yes even the inside but the craftsmanship is sub par and that's being generous. The noise level in between apartments is terrible, clearly these are made cheaply. You hear every move, ever drawer, every cabinet your neighbors make, touch etc. It looks pretty but is basically no better than a college apartment near campus in terms of quality.
