My family moved to this complex May 1st 2017 shortly thereafter the Michaelson Real Estate Group purchased the complex. Unfortunately, the complex has suffered greatly. The security guard at the front gate no longer is there. The grills in the courtyard no longer function. 3 out of 4 laundromats are non-functioning. Roaches and ants are reported by most tenants with nothing done. Maintenance & lawncare is lacking. The office staff prefers to label the complaining resident as a liar & troublemaker instead of fixing the problems.
I never received a call or email about my inquiry. I guess they don't want me to live there?
The a/c was not even functioning when I first moved in. I talked to my then neighbor about it on move-in day and he dealt with the same issue. Apparently maintenance cannot be bothered to check those things before a tenant moves in. Many of my outlets do not work. The walls and windows are paper thin so I can hear everything outside, all the time. Many neighbors don't pick up after their dogs.
Ever since the buy out by a pager firm, there seems to be a dock next between front office and residents
I do like living at St. Charles Row, to the point that I renewed my lease which I have never done at an apartment complex. It feels like home. My neighbors and the staff are what make this place home. I was one of the first to move in when the apartment complex reopened. There was a lot promised in the beginning that the complex fell short of, but slowly the complex is becoming that apartment complex you enjoy to live in.
