The complex is kept neat and clean, most areas nicely landscaped and maintained. Maintainence requests are promptly taken care of. Maintanence staff is friendly. To get excellent I would like to see all areas maintained, and the area around the pond is not well maintained. The sprinkler system for this area has not worked in months. Grass and shrubs are dying or dead with a general look of neglect. Rent for this area is higher so maintanence should be as good as the rest of the complex.
Ownership will throw curves at residence when renewal time comes around. Instead of giving the required 60 days notice that is required by lease so that the tenant can give them the required 30 day notice, they in fact gave a 5 day notice. Which means you are put on a spot to try and locate a new apartment if you do not like their terms. If they had given the 60 days it would have made it easier to either find another place or have a chance to get packed to move. There are more problems.
It's nice and quiet, just how I like it. The only thing I don't like is having to wait so long for my water bill to arrive. Sometimes it doesn't arrive til 3 or 4 days after rent is due (it's due along with rent).
Love the units, and the pool, staff extremely friendly. Downside is not so much about them but the lawn maintenance or the lack thereof.
Good apartment without the price tag or bells and whistles newer complexes offer. Solid first apartment with all the basics you'd need, or fine for a family on a budget. Enjoyed my stay there but not the most ideal place for young professionals. Never had any problems outside of minor issues you'd expect - all of which were promptly attended to by office/maintenance staff.
