Loved it, loved the manager, but it's too far from where I want to be. Boo!
There have been a lot of changes in the office staff for the worse. Since I have lived here in a year, the staff as changed 3 times.
After living here with my dog for over a year, I got a call accusing me of hiding my pet from the office. When I originally moved here from across the state, and came to sign my lease, and pick up my keys, I had the dog with me. As well, in my application it clearly states that I have a dog and the breed (husky mix).
They are demanding another $300 security deposit for the pet, that was paid when I moved in.
This month, they have decided that you can no longer pay your rent using checks. I delivered my monthly rent check to the office and in return I was delivered a 3 day eviction notice. You MUST pay online only. If you are not willing to pay online, you are evicted and receive threats of going to court and paying all their court fees.
Requests to speak to the management company are ignored.
Water gets shutoff without a notice, and it takes them forever to get it fixed. We had a water main leaking out a river for days that surely any plumbing company could have fixed.
When the water overflow for my air condition was blocking up (shared with other units) I put in a service request and no one showed up day after day. They finally dropped off a shop vac in front of my door, and said I could use it to fix the problem. Huh? How? And Im suppose to fix it?
Do yourself a favor, and avoid this place! There are many other nice complexes nearby that surely won't create hassles for you like this place does.Read the RECENT reviews, not the older ones.
Many of the better neighbors that I enjoyed living here with are moving out.
The only contacts they provide to tenants are the leasing agents on site. When you call with a concern, they carefully and politely explain that all they are is Leasing Agents that do not make any decisions or provide any help. There are no property management people available to you.
The property has been sold four times in four years, three times just this year alone. They care more about upgrading the landscaping than things falling apart in the apartments themselves, yet rent has gone up nearly $100 a year.
The current construction has become an inconvenience. Water is often being turned off for a full day at a time because of the sprinkler project.
