Everything about this place is CHEAP! Both my dishwasher and washing machine do not clean properly. I often find myself having to do 2 cycles, or I need to keep both machines almost empty just to get things semi-clean. The faux wood on both the cabinets and flooring also started coming up in multiple spots within a month of living in an apartment that was occupied for less then a year before I moved in. You cannot control the temperature in the freezer and my food often has freezer burn on it. The material the kitchen sink is made of is cheap as are the counter tops which never look clean and always have grime on them no matter how often and hard you clean them. The walls are paper thin -- I could hear everything that went on above me from normal phone conversations to someone using the bathroom! Gross!! As far as the gates - we are promised a safe and secure community, however both gates have not worked properly the entire time I have lived here. There's been vandalism on the grounds and cars broken into on numerous occasions. You pay $20 for trash valet, however they won't take your boxes unless they are cut down and folded up. And lastly, the events -- this was something else that initially attracted me to this community given the fact I was new to the area and working long hours as an attorney. I thought it would be a great opportunity to meet people. However the events are poorly planned/run and as a result no one attends them. I could go on, but hopefully you get a clear enough picture of what living at the Quaye has been like the last year. I hope this helps - good luck!
