I did not receive any response from the leasing office after I submitted a request to apply for an apartment. I emailed and called them several times but no reply. What great customer service? I can only imagine what I would be dealing with if I became a tenant of their community.

It's been three days and no one has gotten back to me.

I lived here for 2 years, and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. You get all the amenities that the other apartment complexes in the area offer, but at a lower price without compensating the large room size, individual lease, furnished apartment, shuttle services, etc. Plus, this complex is smaller and away from the bustle of Alafaya, and we had a police officer patroling at night. I never heard of any crime occurring, which is common in other apartment complexes unfortunately, and I always felt safe. Plenty of shops (including Publix) are within walking distance. Overall, I rarely had any problems, and if I did, I just put in a work order and it was taken care of within the week. Our apartment was clean and spacious, and truly felt like home! I recommend Riverwind to anyone!

I've been living here for almost 2 years now and it's a great apartment. We were pretty fortunate to get a lake view and a nice clean apartment. It's wonderful having such a big room and a queen size mattress. It's my first time having such a nice room. Also, since we're on the third floor, we don't have much trouble from pests except the occasional roach or some baby ants. Everything was basically in good working order when we moved in. Also, for the first year we rarely got overages. However, during the summer, it seems the A/C made the electric bill a little more than usual as it gets really hot here. But typically the overages never go over 8 dollars for us. Also maintenance usually responds on time to our work orders but sometimes they can be really late in carrying them out. Not really much of a problem to me as long as they get it done. Overall, I would totally recommend living here :)

DO NOT LIVE HERE. The property is moldy and infested with bugs. I was physically sick from the conditions. Aside from the HORRID state of the building, the management sucks and the maintenance workers are practically non existent. Oh and the parking stinks.

Don't move here if you can help it: Mantience is absolutely horrible. Called 8 times this year to get one problem fixed and it still was never fixed. Dishwasher never worked after mantience came and apparently fixed it so all year we had to hand wash our dishes. Dryer put snags in all my clothes even when they replaced the dryer with an old one too. Appliances and furniture were so old. They don't update furniture if it needs it, just re use it until it's practically broken down. There was an ant infestation problem that lasted all year. I would wake up to ants crawling on me and crawling all over my room. I would not pay money to live here again. Ever. Spend a little more money and move somewhere nicer in my opinion.
