Boardwalk is a great place to live. I feel safe, the staff is friendly, and there are alot of up to date and accessible amenities. My only complaint is dealing with overall energy and power use. The Air conditioner in my unit is an older model. It has some issues that need to be inspected and dealt with. However, the maintanence staff, that i have dealt with, seems unprepared and not properly trained.

Management is poor. Our recycle bin was taken from us without notice and when we called employee could not tell us why before speaking multiple times to manager. Afterward telling is it was taken because it was outside our front door even though we have lived here two years and never been told thisand we should have gotten a notice..which we didnt. Then told us it was 25 dollars to return. Lastly i am subleasing out my apartment and they told me that my deposit was 99$ even though I have the reciept for 250

I lived at Boardwalk for 2 years and the only good thing about it was the size of the rooms. To start, when I first moved in, the place was unfinished, disgusting, and need of major work... From there the appliances kept breaking and falling apart. It took 6 calls and 3 visits from maintenance to decide to replace the dryer. This was unacceptable. In addition to the broken machinery we also had overages every month, which would be no problem but we got them in December while no one was living there, air was on 80, and everything was unplugged. Finally, the management is absolutely terrible. They actually stole food from home and when I told the front office they laughed... The front staff is a hit or a miss and rarely know what I'm talking about let alone what they're talking about! The manager of the building, Kim, only comes to visit the apartments when there is a major problem or looking to fine you. I got fined for an animal I don't own ($125) and for stealing the cable box ($95) which I didn't do either. She will not speak with you if you ask and does not respond to emails! Good Luck to anyone that would ever want to live here.

Management team lacks professionalism especially the new security guards. Something must be done immediately to get better security as current security does not know how to deal with residents and is extremely condescending and threatening. There is no reason for security to be threatening toward residents and be someone who is unapproachable. Also carpet needs to be removed from all apartments, and go to other methods of flooring.

Overall the experience has been good. My apartment has had issues over the three years living in Boardwalk and that is why the rating is not higher. The apartment is great, but we have had an ant problem since we moved in that has never been solved as well as many maintenance concerns that have taken anywhere from a week to never being solved. We have had many great staffers try and take care of our needs, but we have also had people disrespect us and not treat us properly.
