I have been living in this apartment complex for just over a year now with my boyfriend and so far it has been great. We have a two bedroom two bath on the third floor with a balcony. We only had one instance with a staff member in regards to a maintenance issue but it was taken care very quickly and since then everything has run great.

Honestly find somewhere else to live, the employees are unprofessional, lazy, and super shady. I am appalled by the unprofessionalism of our leaser, Juliet, and her manager, Richard. The application and leasing process was a complete mess, but Ill just list you all the hassles Ive encountered while living here to keep it short.
Bed bugs, a severe flea infestation that took seven months to get rid of, black mold in the master bedroom due to a leak from the unit above us and maintenance literally just sprayed it with bleach, so it keeps coming back. And a broken down AC unit that weve been requesting to be fixed everyday for a week, but maintenance is ignoring us.

Water and sewer are not metered Monthly bill figured on some goofy calculation using the apartment size and number of people on lease and the master bill the apartments receive from the provider.. You are not charged on actual use nor will you be told your actual use because meters in storage closet are not read any longer. My bill jumped up $13 more and could easily go up more based on other peoples usage. If your resource use is light your portion of the "sharing" will be a higher bill. You will pay for those who use a lot of water and waste water because those tenants raise the "master" bill. There are apartments that have multiple residents which are not on the lease and the raise the rates for everyone. Whatever management says your bill is you must pay. I feel like I'm being robbed without a gun..

Here is little detail regarding this change. We hope this helps. As meters age, they tend to under-register water consumption. Paradise Island's resident water meters were registering lower consumption for some time. Due to the age of the metering system and the size of the Paradise Island community, repairing or replacing the metering system is impractical. Residents were notified of this change in accordance with Leases in May 2018.
