the people in the office are rude and they take months to come fix anything broken in the apartment I couldn't wait to move

TODAY'S DATE: 10/5/2017 I will put this very simple. Pros and Cons! Pros - Nn Cons (we will start from the office and work our way around this community) - The management staff is at best, a C grade (and even that may be over-rating them). They do not handle communicating well and when they do communicate their tones, attitudes and demeanors are not that which I would expect from any customer service based business. If you do decide to consider moving here and they offer you an 800 or 900 building location, I strongly advise you to decline (more details below). - The complex was built in 1988....the pictures online are very false. Great Photoshop job with the enhancements! - My apartment was not ready though I worked with the office weeks in advance of my out-of-state arrival. - Inside the apartment I was shown a rusted refrigerator and moderately clean range/oven. I asked to have them replaced and I essentially got 'We are not replacing those.' They felt the items were livable. I only wish I could provide pictures (fridge has numerous rust spots on the outside and the freezer rack is rusted as well). - The entire complex falls under Flood Zone A (the worst flood situation to be in!); None of the aforementioned statement is disclosed during move in. While I understood that I was living against a river (literally in one of the building against St. Johns/Trout River), and understood that if a natural disaster occurred (hurricane) that the area would like flood out, I did not expect the day-to-day rise and fall of the tide to fluctuate to the degree that the tide itself actually would flood the area I live in. Thus, I have been here for 1 1/2 months and I have had to walk through 4-12 inches of water (at high tide which lasts generally 2-5hrs twice a day depending on water levels) on regular days for at least 1 month out of that time (66%)....Horrible! - Management is not willing to help get you in a more comfortable/suitable situation, be it, move you to a better unit
