I paid for an upgraded apartment but all you really get is linoleum floor instead of carpet and a few updated light fixtures. All other finishes are very outdated including white laminate countertops and white appliances that are at least 10 years old. They increase rent every lease renewal pretty significantly which they said was based on the market however with each renewal you are paying much more than what they are asking new renters to pay.

The complex is very nice, gates usually in working order and they do have a beautiful pool area. Neighbors were very quiet and polite.

People in the office were courteous enough until it came to my last renewal when I told them I could not afford the price jump. They said they would work with me and offered to reduce it by 20 dollars a month which I felt was kind of a slap in the face. They are not exactly interested in keeping good tenants that always pay their rent on time apparently. I was basically laughed at and told we are at 95% occupancy as if to say they didnt need my money.

I found a much nicer apartment for a better price that was completely updated.

If you are looking to stay for a one year lease then it might be a good choice but if you plan on staying any longer I would look elsewhere.
