I'm not quite sure why everyone is complaining about this place... I moved in mid-December and had an excellent time with it. My apartment does face the road so there's some loud road noise but my curtains are rubber backed and so I dull it out easily. That is my SINGULAR COMPLAINT. Management is fantastic! Kimmy and Stephanie are extremely friendly, helpful and understanding. Maintenance comes within 24 hours of my request and they're clean and pick up after themselves. I put my dogs in a separate room depending on where my request is. Three people on my floor, in the North tower, have lived there 10+ years. This place has an incredible price, is quiet and has a lovely view. People will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS find something to complain about! Look for yourself before you decide. I read online reviews and almost didn't check it out, I would've been sorely sorry! I'm extremely happy and I feel very safe walking my pups late at night when I get off work. If you have guests, simply have them park in the marina where there is public parking. I've had a ton of family and friends come visit and stay the night with no issue, even walking to the marina is nice because of the river view.
A lot of mold and get evacuated because of the roof is leaking and apartments get flooded
I hate living here! I cannot have guests because they tow every car without a pass after 6. No one can sleep over and my friends can't have dinner or go downtown with me because their cars will be towed!! Visitor passes can only be given out one a day and they expire at 6 pm. It's worse than living on a campus dorm!! My family can't come and visit because their cars will be towed because they are not on the lease!
Horrible management. When we moved in we were aware of a huge hole (5 by 4') in the ceiling which we were told would be fixed in 1 week. 5 weeks later and lots of patience, they finally fixed it. Currently we are on going on the 7th day without AC. They have said they were going to fix it 3 different days, including today. Just got home from work, still not fixed. It's 87 in my apartment. In addition, they were planning construction on the building and promised us underground parking. That lasted 1 month when a notice of the construction, which starts everyday at 8 am (jack hammer on concrete), kicked in. To not tell us about the construction was very dishonest. Broken promises is simply the worst representation of a landlord I have ever seen. Do not stay at a milestone management property.
When I moved here, I was under the impression that this place has luxury and good qualities. I found out quickly that the maintenance crew were not worth the trouble of putting in a work order. Lately, parking has been impossible. Due to construction of the lower garage and the back lot parking. Then, what really was annoying was the water bill a few months ago. I was charged for their mistake, they used a ton of water. They made the residents pay for it. Need less to say, I already began packing my boxes for when my lease is done with. Which, it is unfortunate. The location is awesome, as well as the view.
