No way I would not recommend this to any body

We wanted to break our lease (which ends in January) in order to move into a larger space because we are expecting a baby! So my husband went to the office on the 10th and started the termination of lease paperwork which we received a copy of that both he and one of the leasing consultants signed saying we could move out on October 24th. I then receive a call from the assistant manager on the 19th (so 9 days later and only 5 days before we are moving out), that the lease states they require a 60 day notice even for breaking of lease and we cant move out until December 10th. I tried to explain that we already started this process and the office signed the document saying we can move out early. So she tells me she will call me back later that day and I never heard anything again until Monday the 23rd. Thats when someone else from the office told us we can come sign the paperwork and turn in our keys. So we move out, turn in our keys and believe everything is fine. That was until yesterday when I see that we are being charged $3000 for the termination fee ($1700) plus Novembers rent and 10 days into December. So Reserve at Lake Irene is not only charging us without telling us, but they are also charging for an extra month and a half of rent when we agreed move out was October 24th (with a SIGNED document). And on top of all of that they are charging for a place we can NO LONGER PHYSICALLY LIVE IN because we turned in keys. So they get to avoid confrontation and just charge us behind our backs, plus they get to lease an apartment back out that is still being paid for by old tenants (us). I could understand if they told us, we cant let you out early, you must wait for December 10th I wouldnt have been happy, but I would understand thats what the lease said. But they actually signed a document that said we could move out early and yet still have the audacity to charge us for a place we cant live in. We will NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

They name sounds nice. But don't let it fool you. Pictures you see are model apartments. No wood floor on second levels. I wish I had more time to look for a better place than settling for this. Apartments are not bad but they are outdated. For two months I have paid for valet trash which is $25 a month and did not have a trash bin. I took my trash to the dumpster myself for two months. They let the dumpsters overflow for days before anything is done. For a month I waited for my dryer to get fixed/ replaced. You can't control the bugs if you have filthy neighbors. Rarely the exterminator comes around. AC units a ducts are outdated and need of repair which causes you to have and extremely high electric bill $400 high! And that is with the air on 80. The matience men not all of them but most scratch their cccc and drive golf carts around the property. I guess their are no qualifications for them. You ask for contact information that is higher than the leasing office and they give you the wrong info. I came from NY. So to all of my New Yorkers that are transferring for work purposes they do not have high standards. Make sure you do all your homework before you sign a lease! I came out here for a better job opportunity and better living. For me and my family. You don't want to be bothered by simply situations that management should clearly have a grip on. They said old management was bad I really don't know what they consider good then.
