I lived here for 5 years. The first few years were wonderful, but then the property management changed hands. PROS: 1. They are located in a neighborhood so it's much more quiet and relaxed than most apartments. 2. Located in a good/safe area. 3. Located in a good school district. 4. just updated and remodeled all the apartments . 5. The maintenance guys are great. Very responsive and have always fixed my problems. 6. Can't beat the rent. CONS: 1. They use an electronic key system to keep people from copying their keys. This is horrible if you need a spare key. They charge you an extra $100 per key that they add to your deposit that you may or may not get back when you move. 2. The front office is horrible. I'm don't think its the girls fault, I think it is the property management's policies. The girls in the office seem to have no decision making power. 3. There is no communication at all from the front office. They only communicate in notices left on your door. 4. There are no benefits to being a long time resident or a resident who pays their bills on time and takes care of their apartment. If you want to stay in the complex and move to another apartment it is just as expensive as moving to a new apartment complex somewhere else with all the fees they load on. They also won't treat you any better than a resident who doesn't pay their bills on time and trashes their apartment. 5. Since the new property management took over the resident demographic is changing. It is becoming younger and louder and it is becoming common to smell pot smoke everywhere. 6. Currently there is a lot of construction going on cause they are widening the road. Also the complex used to be surrounded with a forest and most of it has been knocked down which ruined the beautiful view. Personally I don't feel the cheaper rent is worth the aggravation. I hated the whole last year I was living there and could not wait to leave.
The Staff & maintenance extremely knowledgeable and skilful. They go above and beyond to help you out. I like living here , it seems like a very great neighborhood and nice neighbors
