Broadstone is a safe, beautiful, clean environment. Decently maintained and overall staff is very nice.
Maintenance is very quick to respond.
The landscaping is beautiful!
The staff from management to maintenance are al very friendly and helpful.
I will start off my saying I absolutely love living here. It a great location and the buildings and grounds are well kept. The maintenance and office staff are both friendly and pretty helpful (as long as its an easy request).
The only negative feedback I have is in regards to the car break-ins. The gates are often broken and left open. There are no security cameras and I got an overall sense of "oh well" when my car got broken into in Nov. I was told it was my fault for leaving a bag on the seat in view for the thieves. My window was smashed and I was leaving for a trip the very next day. The staff was not very helpful when I asked if I could move my car to a vacant garage or safer spot while I was away since my window was now smashed but did not get any assistance or guidance. I was also told that this "never happens" when I went to report the incident to the office but when the responding officer arrived she noted that they are at our complex quite often for car breakins. I also found one resident who told me his unit was broken into when he was out of town. I wished I knew or had an email communication about the frequency of these events and I would have been more mindful about leaving items in my car.
I've also had an open ticket for my patio floor since I moved in last August 2017. My father is in construction and noted that the cement was improperly mixed with too much sand. There are large holes/crevices on my patio which get filled up when it rains and takes days to drain on top of the white powder that is everywhere and gets tracked in on the bottom of my son and my feet when we attempt to go out there. Its a shame because I have one of the best views/balconies in my building and cant utilize it as much as I'd like. My area rug has also been ruined due to the white powder being tracked into my unit. Nothing has been done yet. I keep being told they are working on it but 9 months later the problem still has not been fixed.
