Maintenance is trash, and ants are a big problem. Office is super hard to get in touch with. Having your own door is a good thing. Parking in also good. I also went through the space heater situation my first month here which is awful for business. Not the worst but definitely a 3 star!

When I came to check out the apartment I dealt with Ashley from the leasing office. She was very helpful, informative, and patient with me. I looked at the unit a couple times.
So far everything has been great except with the noise level from the apartment above me. Its been a while since Ive lived in an apartment and I may be a little picky but its a tad loud.
I had an issue with a couple things and I put a work order in and they were out immediately and resolved my issues.
I am able to pay my rent via text with is cool. The office has been exceptional with me as a tentant thus far.
Basically I have very little to complain about. I would recommend living here.

Communication at Longview between staff, maintenance, and tenants is atrocious. It is nearly impossible to reach staff as they rarely ever answer the phone or are actually in the office when the hours state they are supposed to be open. They don't follow up on maintenance issues and now my heater won't turn on.
1/1/18 at 0100 hrs I got home and realized it was 55 degrees inside, I kept the heater running for another 20 mins in hopes it would heat up. Instead it dropped to 50. I called maintenance emergency, the guy came out and said frozen condensation in the line, nothing he can do, and gave me two very tiny space heaters to use that don't even heat up. At 0500 hrs the temp was below 50 (thermostat starts at 50 so how cold was it really, I don't know). I turned off the heater as obviously it's not working. At 0930 hrs I attempted to turn the heater back on and it failed to do so and got even colder in my apartment.
I have a 9 year old, a 6 year old, and a 2 month old. This is completely unacceptable and the apartment is uninhabitable until this gets fixed. The temperatures are not going to get warmer any time soon and to expect us to go without heat as it drops near 0 degrees at night is unprofessional and asinine to say the least.
To expect a family with small children and a 2 month old who already spent a week in the NICU to live in such conditions is ridiculous.
I have other maintenance issues that have yet to be dealt with that are life and safety issues.
These are all important, necessary, security, life and safety issues that are being failed to be corrected, investigated, or even followed up upon by the management/office staff and maintenance.

Keep areas around bushes cleaner. Lots of trashy little items on the ground around them. Some from window upgrade workers.
