The staff is friendly, I've never had any major problems with my apartment, and requests for service are responded to promptly. My neighbors are friendly and I like the secluded spot.
Over all this apartment complex is really nice. The staff is very friendly, and definitely has concerns for the residents.
Almost all issues were handled by maintenance right away. Somethings take time tho, which is understandable.
Im only giving a 4 star because there is literally not enough parking.
We were told there were two spots per unit, however 99% of the time I have to park against a dumpster, or on the curb, or double park blocking my husband in, which is what other residents do too.
I feel like there should be more parking, and there should be at least enough for ALL residents.
Luckily everything else about the complex, the staff, and apartment itself makes up for this.
I have been a resident here for almost 6 years. The new management company has done so much to improve the community. I have to say that I now loving it here. The renovations that are going on can be disturbing at times and very annoying. The staff here at the office are always welcoming, friendly and very professional. Maintenance staff are very nice and they usually get things done quick. I am very happy resident that is interesting in transferring to a newly renovated unit at the end of my lease. I could not see moving anywhere else. Location is great, my view is great, the new management has done great things starting with redoing the parking lots at first to the inside hallways and units. I would definitely recommend living here.
Where do I begin. When I first saw the apartment on the first day, I was thrilled with how it looks. Then things went downhill from there. The A/C was broken since before we even moved in. We've been here not even 2 months and it has broken SIX times. The HVAC system is 30 years old (I'm not exaggerating) and since it's not considered an emergency in the state of DE, they're in no rush to fix it. The appliances are new (with dents). My brand new dishwasher I couldn't even use because parts were not installed. It was built so closely next to the warped walls that it BARELY OPENS. Our balcony is infested with wasps and instead of finding the bigger nest, they just spray the balcony, twice a week. Our balcony door's lock was broken from day 1 and part of the sliding door wasn't even installed, it was just laying on the balcony floor. My ceiling vent in the bathroom was leaking as the construction people who are working above me must've broken something. They also throw construction debris off the balcony with no concern for anyone's safety.
When looking at the apartments, I suggest you keep in mind that "newly renovated" means "painted over, newish kitchen and new carpet". It doesn't mean new heating system, fixed ceilings, and any other fixed problems. Every week its something new going wrong.
STAY AWAY. I warned you.
Leslie was very helpful with showing me the appartments and answering any questions that I had. I told her I had other places to look at for the day and she was very, very helpful in explaining different locations and the area. As someone from out of town, I really appreciated that. If this property was within my budget, I would be there in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!
