From the historic 1938 art deco headquarters building of the Southern New England Telephone Company emerges The Eli. A modern, sophisticated living environment of luxury apartments. From the original terrazzo and marble lobbies to the elegantly appointed bathrooms and kitchens, the large hardwood floored rooms, lofty ceilings and spacious storage, the historic blends with the contemporary. For gracious living in the heart of New Haven, come to The Eli.
Beautiful building and excellent location. Staff go out of their way to be helpful.
The building staff is incredibly responsive My apartment is comfortable and well designed, everything works Closet space is excellent
I feel the owners have invested in making this a quality place to live. They go beyond the minimum to provide a good experience for tenants.
The Eli is overpriced. The location is excellent. The maintenance crew and staff are wonderful. The remodeling was a nightmare. Amenities have been gradually withdrawn rather than added.
The place is well-run and maintained. The staff is unfailingly courteous and helpful. The two apartments I have occupied have been most satisfactory. My only complaint is that the parking outside the building is inadequate - especially when it snows, and is overpriced. However, I have found an excellent, less expensive, inside garage one relatively short block away.
