I like the picture of the apartment you show don't mine living here.
The heat is kept on at least 75 to 80 degrees in the hallways, possibly higher. It is so hot that my room and other tenants' rooms are 75-80 degrees at night without even turning their own heat on. This is VERY uncomfortable and tenants are forced to sleep on top of the covers and wake up with bloody noses. I understand having to turn on the heat, but the heat does NOT need to be on that high. 65-70 is much more acceptable, especially for the hallway. Tenants can turn up their own heat if cold
I have been in my apartment for 5 years. The location is great. Plenty of heat and AC. Well maintained.
This is a nice quiet building that is made very well. It is in the center of town, so if you are looking for very quietness outside you will not get it. But you will get convenience. Very close to the highways, bus-line, stores and good eatery's. Not a noisy building. The sound proof is very good. You don't hear the person below or above you. Management does not just have anyone renting-Professionals, graduates and elderly live here -which there is zero tolerance of disruptive behavior.
I've had some issues with the upstairs residents. I have complained and my complaints did make a difference as the tenants were fined but it never really went away permanently.
