I loved living here! I lived here for 2 years (2016-2018) after moving from another community in Hamden. The staff is excellent. Laurie was my leasing agent and she was wonderful. Joanna was the property manager and she is excellent. The community is very quiet. There is a mix of families w/ young children, older retirees, young professionals, and other middle-aged professionals. I was there when they started remodeling apartments, the media room, and all of the hallways. The renovations are wonderful. If you have a carpeted apartment and the neighbors above have carpet you won't hear a thing and the people below you won't hear you. If the neighbors above you have hardwood floors you will hear them move if they don't put down a good area rug. I loved the HUGE balcony, spacious layout, and an open kitchen. The kitchen was so big I became spoiled. I loved having access to a pool. The media room is large w/ a pool table. The staff was great at trying to host events and get the community together. They even have a Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
My only minor complaints: I did not have a washer and dryer in my unit, however, I NEVER had a problem washing clothes in the laundry room. I used all three washers and dryers to get all my laundry done at once and I never had to wait and no one was ever waiting for me to finish. I did laundry at random times. I have arachnophobia and I didn't like how the spiders still found a way on my balcony and sometimes in my apartment despite emptying cans of bug/spider spray. When I first moved in I had a few silverfish, but after spraying around the perimeter of the apartment I never saw them again. No other insects. No rodents. These units and the building are very clean! I didn't like that they started charging for storage space. I wish they included that in the rent and not as an additional fee.
Other than that, I think this is an excellent place to live! Very quiet. Very comfortable. It felt like home. I'll miss this place.
it looks like a beautiful place to live
Apartment staff is rude. They are not helpful. Would not recommend!!!
