I have been to Canal Crossing at Whitneyville West a few times since it opened. I am not moving for a while, but I attend their events to keep up with the progress there. Canal is the best option in the Hamden-New Haven area. We looked at several other communities and none of them were the same quality of this place. We looked at the new complexes in New Haven too, and this is the best bang for your buck. (And cheaper parking! One car is free at Canal.) I love what I have seen happen in the Clubhouse. I cant wait to move in and hang out there with friends. The leasing office has kept in touch with me throughout the months to let me know about its progress. Communication is great! I know it will be the perfect be the perfect home for us.

Came in to see the apartment I will be taking next month. Process was easy, Kelly is friendly, the neighbors seemed very happy and kind. I am sure I will like it here

Poorly built apartment. Noise from neighbors and outside. Overpriced given multiple issues.

fees for many 100s of dollars charged after the fact for services I'm sure were Im much much less and were non negotiable. For exsmple the rekey fee or $200 when a google search showed the fob is <$10

I am sorry to see that you are not happy with the fob fee.
You actually get $200 of the $250 when it is returned. So therefor it is only $50 dollar fee that we charge for it!
If you ever have any questions about fees, etc please don't hesitate to call the office.

Front office is very responsive to needs and friendly. Everything thus far has been kept clean and there has been really no issues. Property management seems to be on top of getting everything fixed in a timely fashion. Rob is great!
