Canal Crossing is a beautiful place to call home. It's quiet despite the constitution work in progress, but Do Not be discouraged. Our apartment is near the constitution site, and we're not being bothered by any noise. In fact, I find it fascinating each day looking at the work being done. I enjoy living at Canal Crossing, and i feel safe here in this community. It's close to the parkway, stores, schools and churches. Dana, the community manager, and the other office staff ladies are professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Dana is very knowledgeable in all aspects of her job. She'll patiently assist you through the leasing process if you decided to take an apartment. Dana will see to it that all your paperwork are squared away from start to finish. So, if you're looking for peace and quiet, safety and beauty, I highly recommend Canal Crossing. Once ago, i was looking at this beautiful gem pictures online, and now I'm a part of its luxury and beauty.

I have been to Canal Crossing at Whitneyville West a few times since it opened. I am not moving for a while, but I attend their events to keep up with the progress there. Canal is the best option in the Hamden-New Haven area. We looked at several other communities and none of them were the same quality of this place. We looked at the new complexes in New Haven too, and this is the best bang for your buck. (And cheaper parking! One car is free at Canal.) I love what I have seen happen in the Clubhouse. I cant wait to move in and hang out there with friends. The leasing office has kept in touch with me throughout the months to let me know about its progress. Communication is great! I know it will be the perfect be the perfect home for us.

I have lived here for almost a year and a half. For the most part I really enjoy it. Management is pretty responsive, the property is kept clean and well maintained. My biggest complaint, and the reason that I docked a star, is because the walls here are practically paper thin. Additionally, I have had the misfortune of having an extremely noisy upstairs neighbor, who I have reported for excessive and inconsiderate noise at all times of night. I have reported the individual on multiple occasions, he feigns innocence and confusion and nothing has been done about it. So overall, I enjoy living here but if you are a person who desires some semblance of quiet, think twice about living here.

We are sorry you feel this way. Our pricing is competitive with the current market. We offer a beautiful community with amenities including a salt water heated pool and 24 hour fitness center. Interior features include granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, Kohler plumbing fixtures, vinyl plank flooring and washer/dryers.
