If you apply for an apartment at this complex, be sure you ask every question you can think of because I was not informed of all requirements. I filled out an application, paid the application fee, and then, after two e-mails and a phone call was finally told that I did not qualify, even though I have an excellent credit rating and no debt (because I did not have proof of 3 times the amount of monthly rent in gross income). I am on Social Security and Retirement and can easily make the monthly payment for a studio apartment, but because that is their corporate requirement, they wouldn't qualify me. I think this is a ridiculous policy and, when I viewed the apartment I was going to rent, I was assured it would be cleaned and refurbished before moving in, but it was filthy!!!
I've lived here for over two years. Right after I moved in management changed in January 2019 (note that when reading reviews). I am being singled out and bullied b/c there are major maintenance issues that aren't dealt with. The lack of response by management has caused me to have to speak up (not my natural inclination). I have done all of this while remaining friendly and only trying to seek a positive resolution. This is my home & do not wish to cause issues for me and my family. However, when things are consistently broken or not as promised they should be fixed in a timely manner and I shouldnt be treated rudely in the process. I do not think these are unreasonable expectations. I cannot have any sort of productive conversation with the manager or assistant manager because they both have very bad attitudes and are noncooperative. I have had other issues that need to be addressed but I no longer feel comfortable reporting them for fear of having to deal with the office staff. I have rented several properties before and have never experienced these sorts of problems, ever. I am not the only resident who feels this way. Many residents who lived here under the previous management have left. I hear comments from my neighbors all the time but no one wants to say anything because nothing gets done. And who wants to make enemies with the management? Even my kids (7 and 8) ask me why Gilbert (mgr) hates us and is a bully. The reason I chose to live at The Enclave was not because of the price, it's not the cheapest in town. It was the friendly faces, the security at the gates and the front doors of the building, the elevator, and the pool/hot tub. Other than the elevator (which is still a gamble) my reasons for choosing to live here no longer apply. If I were you, I would consider one of the many apartment options in Parker. It is hard to explain in only 2000 characters but don't make the same mistake I did!
