Honestly, this place has improved from what it used to be. Parking is still a mess and if you're someone like me who won't be home before 5pm, you won't find parking unless you want to pay for a carport I'm paying for 2 just to avoid parking on the street . Walls are thick enough to never really notice you have neighbors, however I do live on the top floor so I couldn't tell you if its worse on the lower levels. Overall though, this is a good enough place to live. The prices are a little steep but they're about average for the city these days. My only complaint is the wasps that live in the buildings and lack of prevention and overuse of pesticides that happen because of them.
Ascend has been one of the better places I've lived in the past ten years. The staff are always friendly and helpful and maintenance is pretty quick about fixing things related to our apartment. I will say that parking can be a pain anytime after 9pm which doesn't help the night owl in me. And occasionally noise is a problem but more annoying than anything to really get upset over. The complex is rather pet friendly and the grounds are kept clean and safe. Just don't rent a 3rd floor place if you have bum legs. All in all a few minor grievances like any other place but by far one of the better places I've lived.
Okay it's a place to live.
I would not recommend living here. The kitchen layout is terrible, appliances are too big for the space and prevent drawers from being opened. Parking is hard to find after 7pm. You can hear your neighbors really well. We've had terrible experience with maintenance, waiting up to 60 days to get important things fixed. The staff members are not very knowledgeable, also there is poor communication between the staff team, maintenance team, and upper management. We've had a poor experience with Ascend Red Rocks.
Nice place to live. Parking at times can be difficult but over all its very nice place with a great location to everything.
