Rents for the non renovated apartments are simply high. The Green River management is very irresponsible in terms of maintaining the society. Theres no fair pricing of apartments for the residents.
I have been here for 8 months and in that time I have experienced the following: a check that was processed on my banks end but this office here saying it didn't go through. So, being a responsible tenant, I brought in a money order. The check was never returned so they were paid rent twice in this month. I gave hard evidence of this, a copy of my statement and they refuse to acknowledge that they stole a months rent. The next month (which was June) they said the check didn't go through as well... however they chose not to tell me until August. They have been provided a bank statement for this as well that shows the check went through. They currently have me listed as owing a months rent from JUNE. I have also had an infestation of MOTH LARVAE... those disgusting little worms that destroy carpet and make it so you have to disinfect everything. They took 2 months to deal with this in which I did not have access to the entire lower level of the 2 level apartment. They refuse to credit any money until I pay my previous balance. This place is a joke. The trash service was caught by my security camera as going the trash out of the can, walking 20 feet and dumping the bag of trash everywhere after the guy heaved it over his shoulder. The guy then picked up all the trash and stuffed it back in my trash can and took a picture of it as if I left it look the can like that. I refused to rebag it so for the next 5 weeks, I did not have trash service and it stayed and smelled the whole are up. They called trash service proceeded to take pics every day and email them to the manager though I had already smiled the video of this incident. The apartment complex refuses to credit me for the lack of service yet they were paid every month. The manager of my colored neighborhood is extremely rude and acts like I don't have a reason a to have attitude or be upset and she will wav her hands and yell at me not to come at her like that... when I have been very calm. She is insanely ghetto.
I lived at Red Canyon for 3 years (6272) there was no ventilation or cross breezes since all windows are on the same side of the apartment! Prior to our move out I received a move out check list and used that to make sure we covered all cleaning bases... Then about 3 months later, I receive a bill for a burn spot on the vinyl in the kitchen (no...) but even if it did have a burn it is as old as the apartment!!!! very ugly and old.... In their defense, the vinyl matched the carpet in the old and ugly.... BUT.. Then I get hit with a "Antimicrobial hard surface clean and odor treatment due to smoke damage" for $1580.00!!!!! again, we lived there for 3 years with essentially NO ventilation, and yes WE COOK IN OUR HOME!!! Included in my final bill was an ESTIMATED WATER BILL???!!! what? 3 months is not enough time to do a reading???Oh and lets not forget there was a 35.00 charge for the handle of the old microwave that broke off when my daughter opened it out last day there!!! I was sooo embarrassed when it fell off in her hand, I told her to just leave it on the counter!!!! I have a survey that I completed after my 1st year in the apartment and detailed all of these items, never did anyone contact me!!!Buyer beware.. 1st bit of advise I could give would be to nit pick the heck on move in and make sure you have a walk thru with management prior to moving out and make sure all water charges are completed before you walk out the door!!!!
Very nice amenities and staff. Exterior buildings & clubhouses nice and updated. Enclosed walk from garage to indoor & overhang at front door entrance & nice covered patio. Condition of interior was a total shock moving into. For the price you get very low-end cabinets, low end glazed over countertops and builders grade sink fixtures. Water damaged ceilings with patchwork and very small linen closets. Constant spiders even with property treated. Noisy upstairs neighbor that has been given "great neighbor" status. Moving out now after 3 mos.
