If you love to live with mouse and mice and also loving spider and bugs. This will be your choice. Maintenance is just for name shake. Pay your rent and live kool. They are even not thinking to send you about your lease extension letter and what will be your next rent. When you will reach and ask, they will hand over the letter and you have to answer on same day. No choice.
Bad choice to live there, I did mistake.
If I could give zero stars for this apartment complex, I would. Overall, it is old, poorly maintained, poorly managed, and generally just a huge pain in the kiester to be a resident. Your lease is not viewed as a legally binding document and they will change whatever they want whenever they want to make it work for them. We had to pay an additional $250 when we moved in because apparently the software that calculated the amounts on the lease was wrong.
No one does anything professionally here. There was no walkthrough upon move-in and during the walkthrough at move out, the maintenance guy didnt even use the checklist of things that were damaged when I moved in! And speaking of the maintenance, whatever is wrong with your apartment (which will be plenty) is a huge inconvenience for the maintenance staff to fix. I was assured our heat was just fine, when, in reality, the ducts were disconnected in 5 places. We had mice living in our walls and ceiling for weeks before we could get anyone to do anything about it. Also, mice are super common here. It took almost 4 months to get screens on our windows. It took more than 6 months to get a leak from our upstairs bathroom into the lower bathroom fixed. The maintenance man told me that the amount he spends on parts/repairs for the apartments comes out of his bonus.
Finally, we rented our new place and moved out before our lease was completely up. When I went back to return my keys, I went into my apartment to do a final check. Someone had been in my apartment, turned up the heat, and turned on all the lights. That unit was still under lease as my apartment and I was still accountable for the utilities for the electricity used. When I asked Amanda, the complex manager, about it, she said she didnt know anything about it. So, either the complex is being run so poorly that the manager doesnt know what the maintenance is doing, or she was lying. Either way, Im so glad to be done with all of it.
