This community has gone significantly down hill over the past year. Whether its the constant vehicle break-ins in the "secure" garage to the rude staff that is very good at covering up the terrible things that happen within this community. Fortunately, after two years we are moving out and I will not be recommending this apartment to anyone.

This apartment is not what it was less than a year ago before they took management in house. The previous management would hold resident events, was attentive to resident concerns, and quick to act when there were maintenance requests. The new management, Equity Residential, has really taken the building and the quality of living to a low. I have witnessed remarkable turnover in staff in the 6 months they have been working there, Corporate publicly admonish staff in the open while residents are around, and have an avoidant, unaccommodating attitude to the residents. The building itself is poorly constructed. From being able to hear your next door neighbors phone conversations though the walls, to hearing every foot step above your head, the construction of any floor above 5 is shotty at best. They will tell you there is concrete and sound proofing, but this is stopped after the amenity deck floor, effecting most of the residents. For being called "Luxury", the amenities do not stand up to other luxury buildings in the area. There is a very small gym where you will be lucky to find a space to work out in, a small pool and hot tub that are often closed due to residents breaking glass on the decks, and their roof top deck can fit maybe 5-10 people at most. All and all, there are much better and cheaper options in the area.

If you are looking for a modern building with upscale amenities in an amazing location the Alexan is the place to be! The leasing and maintenance staff are super friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome! The floor plans are functional and modern but lack proper dining spaces/room. Overall amazing community and unbeatable location! Sparks

Alexan Uptown is the epitome of quality and modern chic that offers a wealth of fantastic amenities, opportunities to socialize with other residents and staff, in a booming neighborhood of downtown Denver.
