While Ballpark Lofts has a great location, that is about all that is in their favor. I lived there for two years and couldn't be more relieved to have moved out. Communication is severely lacking no matter who is working in the front office as they have a lot of turnover. To try to get ahold of anyone in the office whether it's calling, emailing, texting, leaving voicemails etc is nearly impossible. I transferred apartments after my first year of living there and it was the worst experience. They dragged their feet in running our background checks, had a hard time keeping track of things we'd turned into them for our application and ultimately never approved us until the day before our current lease was up even while starting the application process 60 days prior. It would have just been easier to move to another building. The fire alarms go off constantly, usually for a minimum of 30 minutes at all hours of the day and night. They say they've been working on this, but clearly that's not happening. While I understand COVID changed a lot of things in the world last year, they took away so many of our amenities for even longer than other buildings in the area. We still paid all of the amenity fees even while not having access to things like pool chairs. While the lobby has been newly renovated, the rest of the space is very rundown. I would recommend this building for about a year as it is very close to a lot of things in downtown/Rino area and is definitely a party building. They need to focus more of time and effort on their residents. I'm sure they will comment on this review and try to assure me that they're so sorry for this, but after two years of bringing issues to them it's far too late.
I dont even know where to begin with this place. If you value peace and quiet, DO NOT LIVE HERE! The fire alarms go off constantly. Whether you working from home while on a call, sleeping, or just trying to relax, they are always going off. Its happened numerous times since Ive lived here and often in the middle of the night. It is absolutely horrible to wake up to and its traumatizing for our dog.
Its happened so often that I have dreams that Im hearing it and wake up in a panic. If thats not enough, there are always parties going on with loud, blaring music. Renovations happen in nearby apartments from time to time. I can think back to a point where Ive heard hammering every single day, ALL DAY, for a week straight. Enough to drive any sane person absolutely mad.
Location is the only thing going for this place. The amenities arent that great. The gym was closed way longer than it should have been and the hot tub is never warm. Often times there is trash in the stairwells and even dog poop. I cant speak for everyone, but a good amount of people who live here are careless slobs who only like to party.
People who have rated this place 5 stars are either clueless or havent been living here long enough to really know what its like. Take it from someone who has lived here for over a year, Ballpark Lofts is doing everything they can to drive residents crazy and make them look elsewhere when their lease is up.
If you are seriously considering living here, I hope you take this review to heart and know what you are in for.
One month free rent for being so thuper cool?:) best place to live downtown.
I am very happy with my experience at Ballpark Lofts. The location is hard to beat. It is a very close walking distance to everything you can ask for in downtown Denver. The apartments are nice and spacious and the pool is the perfect place to spend weekends in the summer. The price is pretty reasonable for the location in LoDo.
Living at Ballpark has been a wonderful experience thus far. I like having the extra amenities like the workout room and pool. It's also nice living in a community with younger people.
