To begin the units, building, amenities and common area's are adquate to great! to amazing! The main concerns I have as a current resident of this commuinty relates to the front office staff. First, PLEASE do your research "and due diligence," as this property is own by Greystar Properties which has a shady background on managing properites as well as "maximizing their profits by taking advantage of their tenants." There have been several miss communications when signing our lease (to which we where unaware of, and should of been told certain things, and resulted in "non compliance fees, because this person forgot to look through the lease for all requirements, in which it costed us." Also, for instance, during Memorial Day weekend all residents received a email days earlier suggesting the pool was "finished being worked on and ready to be used;" however, this was not the case and the "pool boy," tried to clean the pool during the most busy time during that weekend in which he insisted "everyone has to be out of the pool while [I] clean..." He left for over an hour and returned every 30 mins or so. It was awful, when residents paying thousands of dollars monthly to live here tried to cool off in the pool, this person yelled for "everyone out of the pool now, I told you." Including raising his voice and yelling at small children. Residents contacted the "office to no avail," honestly I would have expected more advocation from the front office staff or any management. I could go on, etc because there is a lot more. PLEASE DO NOT let the looks deceive you. After my experience here I am not looking to renew after my lease is up. It is a sad situation; most of the front office employees are not helpful and come across pretentious and annoyed with your questions. I will continue to contact Greystar until something is done regarding: the way we are treated by staff and contractors as well as being less "money driven towards their residents," and more caring.

My biggest complaint is the lack of cleanliness. I am not saying our grounds guy and our custiodian aren't doing their jobs. They seem great. My complaints about the dirty garage, exterior windows and gym require outside contracted work. And the building seems to be too much for only one custodian to cover. 1000 S Broadway markets itself as luxury and we pay luxury rents. I think cleanliness is part of luxury.

After visiting many communities in search of a new home, we are so grateful to have found 1000 S. Broadway. The units are beautiful and laid out in such a practical manner. The finishes are lovely and well kept. The amenities are incredible. We have had no sound issues hearing any neighbors in the hallways or above us! Being walking distance to Sprouts has been the best bonus and so convenient. Also great to be a part of the green building community!
