New team is really making it better here everyday. Thank you! It's a great place to live but was neglected for a period. However, it's on the UP with all the improvements going on. Office folks are good people and I'm happy to see the care and attention going into our community.

I'm writing this review because I was starting to not like living here but I think the building was sold to someone new and the new owners seem to care about fixing up our community. YAY!!! It's moving slow but at least they know what needs improvements and they have started. I've been through many management teams and sometimes I only hear about improvements but never see any. So, I'm excited to be in my cozy apartment and wait it out. It's a nice community but just needed some TLC. The area is beautiful, the views, the location.....everything like that feels good. Fingers crossed the improvements are felt by the residents and that our home only gets nicer by the day. Thanks for looking out for the residents!

Great community! Near everything and beautiful views. Tons of trails to walk dogs. Friendly and helpful staff. The apartments are new and modern. People are always working on the property to make it better. It's clean and safe. I tell all my clients about it. Thanks for making it nice to live here!

If you like peace & quiet, walking through clean, good smelling hallways without trash, & never being disturbed by hoards of unsupervised screaming children, DONT MOVE HERE. Its complete chaos constantly, kids running through the halls at all hours of the day & night with zero supervision from their parents, leaving trash, toys, & clothing as far as the eye can see. Management will do nothing to help you despite complaints from several tenants & their own employees, as well as numerous pictures & videos for proof. These same unsupervised children will ruin every moment of happiness you try to have at the pool & hot tub, & the fitness center is disgusting (they literally give you nothing to wipe the machines down with). Spend a little extra money on your sanity & go somewhere else. I certainly wish I had & long for the day I can get out of here.

We certainly do not feel the same way about our beautiful property and all of the wonderful families that help make our community awesome. We're not aware of any of the specifics you mentioned, however, were there ever any residents not following our community guidelines, we would take action sending warnings and fines as necessary. As an owner managed community, we have a vested interest to ensure that our community is well maintained at all times and if this is not the case and you have examples, our management team would be happy to hear about any specific concerns. We're sorry that some of the children of the community have negatively impacted your overall experience and that you are frustrated by it. We understand that apartment living can have its challenges and if there is something that is happening outside of our rules and regulations, we'll certainly step in to enforce it. Know what you are paying for. Look at the rent, then add property (community) utilities and the Colorado Springs Utilities. The utilities for a 2 bedroom 2 bath has been $155 per month plus $65 from COS. Then the water is constantly being cut off, without warning and they call it an emergency. They send out emails about refer a friend and property news but they can't email you that they sudenly cut off the water or decided in the middle of the day (70+ degrees) to cut on the heat. The carpets in the hallways are disgusting, no matter how much they clean them. There are so many cars with tow stickers but they won't tow them. The front of the buildings are appealing but walk behind one. The security zips through at night without any care. Look up hot spots for crime through CSPD. The rent is way to high for a property management company that really doesn't want to spend any money on fixing it up. There is a reason why there are so many apartments available so close to a college.

As an owner managed community, we have a vested interest to ensure that our community is well maintained at all times and we are consistently evaluating our policies and procedures to provide a clean and safe environment for everyone. As you can imagine, transitioning a property this large takes time and we appreciate your patience as we work to make our community best in class. Unfortunately, there are many large projects that have required massive upgrades and our teams are working diligently to minimize inconveniences to you and all of our residents. We know the importance of being comfortable in your home and your safety is our top concern. While we do our best to alert our residents of what's going on, it's not always possible to personally reach out to everyone. University Village Apartment Homes is located in Northwest Colorado Springs located University Village Colorado Shopping Center. All of our apartments for rent in Colorado have great mountain views, resort inspired pool, fitness center, and clothes care center in every building. We have spacious 1, 2, and 3 bedroom floor plans. Every apartment home comes with a private patio or balcony. Our community is located on the Santa Fe Trail that has 40 miles of jogging/ bicycle trails & easy access to I-25. Come visit us today!

Lease Terms

6-12 Month leases, Please call for more options.

Pets allowed: Breed restrictions do apply. Please contact the office for further details. There is a one time non-refundable pet fee of $350 for one pet and for two pets its$500. There is a monthly $30 pet rent for one pet/and for 2nd pet is $50. We love our animals, but we ask that you follow our policy of 2 pets maximum.
