DONT RENT FROM HERE. The management is absolutely terrible. They are not empathetic whatsoever and all they want it to take your money, from towing away their own residents from poorly marked tow-away zones to double charging rent, I hate living here with every fiber of my being and cannot wait for my lease to end.

Homeless, cars breaking into ,pool always closed .not up graded at all for the price. Management is horrible.

Work orders are handled very slowly. The office staff rarely answers or even calls back. The wood decks are crumbling and deteriorating. Paint over spray and over brush everywhere. Expansion foam and construction adhesive on the brand new carpets. This unit has a weird white contact paper substance on all the cabinets. They were wall papered and it is peeling in many places. We had a bathroom door start to peel apart and get stuck from sagging so far. Maintenance also determined it was warped. Management then informed him we had caused the damage to this peeling, sagging door with a mirror and would need to pay $250 to have it replaced. When i told him we weren't paying for it, suddenly the door was fixable and he screwed it together with drywall screws, glue, and tightened the mounting screws. It ain't pretty but technically its holding. This door like the front door has been sagging. I was informed that if it sagged again they would put some plastic drywall anchors in there for us. There's sunlight and air coming from underneath the front door also. We submitted an order for that one. They screwed on a rubber sweeper and said they could do no more. The pool and hot tub seems to be broken every two or three weeks. The faces of management and maintenance have changed many many times since i have been here but the Knolls remains the same. Just for what i have stated in this alone multiple different maintenance people/teams have worked on them. The knolls refuses to allow many repairs to be done properly and causes the units and tenants to suffer more and more as time passes by. This is easily one of the best locations in town to be and the knolls just seems to squander the amazing opportunity.

The location is good and the neighborhood is quiet and safe but those are the ONLY good features of this apartment complex. The management staff is extremely nice when you are trying to move in but the most passive aggressive jerks otherwise. Dont count on getting anything fixed if you live here, and everything is constantly breaking! For how much you pay to live here you could get a house. What a horrible experience!
