The manager Josh is very rude, and seems to only care about potential renters. Once you're a resident, everything seems to fly out the window.
Can't seem to find anybody else in the leasing office to assist, it's unfortunate to see all helpful & respectful leasing agents go. A few of them were the reason I moved here in the first place.
Hard to enjoy such a nice apartment with such negativity around, especially when the manager is also a resident.
Horrible management and doesn't not keep there word apartment is falling apart and maintenance take for ever to fix it. If you ask for an extension for rent bill its only 3 days instead of the day you ask for then the add 100 fee to your bill. To expensive 2 bed 2 bath 2070 that's crazy I might as well be living in a 6 bedroom 3bath house and pay less like my mom. Also without asking if you reversed the club house which is 400 to reserve and your late on your rent they take that 400 without asking even if it's not your money its friends or family money there supposed to give you back 200 after your party but you know what they took my moms money and put it towards our rent I got in trouble because they promised 200 dollars back for renting the club house now my mom is mad because they didn't tell me. So I paid her instead. To many rules as well do better and fix the heated pull it's not heated
Im giving Parq at Illif one star because the apartments are beautiful Ill give them that, the club house, gym and the whole property is very pleasing to the eye, but nothing works! We were told the pool was heated and open year round which is honestly what sold me because my kids and I love the water, yes the pool has been open year round but has been freezing, Im talking youll get hypothermia if you go in there. Yes the hot tub is warm but I have not seen a single soul go in the pool, also just last week (April) I over heard Josh tell some kids that asked him when the pool would be warm enough to in there, he told them they were waiting for the sun to warm it up. Okay....
Sauna doesnt work, dog spa works sometimes weve had to give our dogs a cold quick wash because there was no hot water, the big industrial washing machines also dont work.
Im my building (P) anytime there is a lot of wind there is a door up in the attic that is not latched correctly and it bangs so hard it makes our walls shake, also not fixed yet, on snowy days it leaks.
Trash fee.. we get charged $35 every month for a valet service to pick it up, which there has been a lot of times where the trash never gets picked up on designated days, I asked to have the option to opt out of that service and was ignored.
Found mice dropping Im my bedroom.
I was initially really excited to move in to Parq at Illif I thought it was a wonderful place but I am very disappointed now that I live here. I do not recommend it to anyone.
5 stars for appearance and the staff is extremely nice. Amenities are broken most of the time, the hot tub is warm but definitely not hot, the sauna has never worked, the golfing simulator's bulb is always burnt out from being left on, the coffee maker is never stocked or broken. The gym is great, but have the usual children in there every once in awhile, and some people like to chill on the equipment with their phones (Normal gym environment to be fair).
When you tour and look in the rooms you won't see ceiling fans, these will take months to have maintenance install. I suggest installing yourself if you know how.
Office staff will say yes to anything in a written email and then refer to corporate/lease when that specific situation arises. Incoming contractors if your position could move you and you do not want to pay the lease break fee of 4k, you should choose a different place that will allow this.
Dogs are continuously off their leashes. I love to let my dog off her leash but it's not courteous and dangerous because you do not know the demeanor of other dogs. Take your pup to an off the leash park. It's a rule not enforced here on the property.
I believe in my opinion they had a hard time feeling apartments so they cut the price and it seems like anybody can move in now. Don't get me wrong we have wonderful people that live here and we enjoy most of our neighbors. But we also have families of 10 living in one apartment.
If this review can I've you some clarity before making the 12 month commitment. Please look at the other review below from Lisa
of a score of 2. I can concur a great deal of her review as well.
Ive lived here for 10 months and have been STRONGLY debating whether to renew due to the continued issues with amenities and cheapness of the management to address certain issues. Beautiful apartments, clubhouse and community! However, there are major issues with the amenities and customer service of the management team. Here are some things to consider prior to moving in here... There is dog poop everywhere, some of the beautiful green areas are so full of dog waste, the wind carries the stench. Dogs are required to be on leashes, but this too isnt enforced. Both my dogs and I have personally been attacked and Animal Control was involved yet the same dogs still roam off the leash and there is no enforcement from management. Since Ive lived here, 31st resident, the following amenities have never worked or are always broke, and/or have been taken away: the bulk laundry room hasnt worked - there is new equipment in there sitting, the golf simulator is ALWAYS down, the free Starbucks coffee machine is now only open if management/leasing staff is present, the dog spa isnt kept clean and isnt enforced to be cleaned after use, pool table sticks are often broken, the simulators golf clubs are all damaged, the grilling area is a hit or miss if someones trashed it and left food on the grill, and the valet trash service youre required to pay for only picks up your trash about 60% of the time. Cars abandoned and wrecked cars are not addressed in a timely manner, if at all. This is a no smoking property - you have to go across the street. For some this is good, others not so much. There has been issues with the resident payment portal. Finally, and most important to me, Complaints and request to the management and leasing staff are heard and acknowledged but never addressed. Because of this Im only issuing two stars however the properties beauty is worth five stars. So the big question is are the nuisances above worth living here? Only you can decide that.
