For me, most important about living in a complex managed by a company is the induvuduals who work the leasing office, maintain the property and the maintenance crew. Solimar has never disappointed me. From, Jessie, Rosanna (moved on to greater things since when i first began residence, to Lucia, Tracy in the leasing office, Edgar and Raphael my go to guys everytime and always take care of me to Rosa and Alonzo (?) Keeping the complex gorgeous! I adore them. Beauriful place and beautufull people!. Yhey are priceless.

Solimar Apartments are exceptionally built with excellent insulation to prevent noises from neighbors. The modern style layout, decor and appliances makes you feel like you are living in a resort. The community is a quiet, family-friendly environment with exceptional amenities such as heated pool, doggie park, doggie spa/wash area, childrens play area are absolutely amazing to have within the complex.

Living in Solimar apartment is a pleasure for most part, brand new construction, having a doggie park and wash for my furry friend is a big plus. I love living in a dog friendly complex. There're so many doggies living here and it makes it fun to get to know your neighbors easily.

Incidents I have encountered that you should take into consideration before leasing:
1. Utilities: I continually received exorbitantly high electricity bills from LADWP that did not match my usage. I brought this to Solimar management's attention multiple times, but they continually told me I should adjust my usage and that the "meter doesn't lie." Fast forward--it was discovered that I was paying my neighbor's electricity bill (family of 5) because the electricity meters were not properly assigned to the correct units. This was a construction error that was not caught during the inspection process. I've been forced to pay hundreds of dollars more than what my actual usage was because LADWP has not mitigated the problem, and Solimar management has not helped me resolve the error. BEWARE, to date, I am still paying for my neighbor's electricity bill because the issue is unresolved. I am now having to pursue legal counsel. See photos.
2. Car Vandalism: I woke up at 3:00am one morning to an intoxicated woman near my apartment window screaming about her relationship problems. I later heard her banging walls and objects and throwing a tantrum. Security never once intervened and her friends later deescalated her. I woke up to go to work that morning and found the side of my car dented in. A shoe mark was visible on the tail light. See photo. Property management told me to consult with my renter's insurance for reimbursement (clearly not a renter's insurance issue). They also refused to release video surveillance footage or discuss the concerns with the security guard on duty that night.
Management:
POOR
The current manager, Traci, is an absolute joke and has no idea what she's doing. She's unprofessional, short with communication, and appears to have no formal training or experience in property management.

Solimar is an amazing environment with friendly, helpful management staff. The units are brand new, and the property looks beautiful, featuring great amenities like a heated, year-round pool, outdoor grills, and a 24 hour gym. Great for singles and families alike, Solimar features a play area for children and is pet friendly!
