Worst place I've rented. I've lived in Koreatown off Pico & St. Andrews, and in Pomona in the townhomes near the In-n-Out/Popeyes off Indian Hill & 10 FWY before landing here, thinking it'd be an upgrade.
First of all, the management is terrible. Your lease locks you in with a high fee to break, and you must notify management within 30 days before the end of your lease that you are leaving. This is standard in most places. However, the lease is increased by several hundreds of dollars after each year. This is to compensate for unhappy tenants and forcing them to leave and bring in new clueless tenants. The amount of complaints are ridiculous.
Going into your new unit, typically the paint and other issues are redone and you're given a checklist of items that you need to deem as "okay" and issues moving on forward must come out of your own pocket. Within a week, bubbling on wood floors occurred i.e.
Parking is terrible with teenagers and young adults dealing drugs daily. Laundry rooms are typically never available as they are broken and take money, or are completed occupied by one person typically. The laundry cards only take $5 bills at the leasing office. The kids play outside, which is good considering this day and age, however they run across the walkways on the 2nd and 3rd level which causes loud disruptions while you're inside the unit.
To the final point, the worst of all: The walls. If you have average hearing, the walls are very thin. You WILL hear everyone and everything. Later in the night when TV's are off and there is less ambient and/or white noise, you will hear conversations and gossip daily through your tv noise. The walls are thin enough for you to hear snoring from the other side of the wall in your master bedroom, or the toilet flushing and water flowing through the pipes from the floor above you. The people there are not friendly and have an interesting comaraderie. There are also creeps by the gym daily.
Yeah it's pretty bad here... Over 5 years now and they raise the rent every single year. Not to mention Roaches, but good news, the bug man comes every Tuesday... They look good from the outside but the inside is dated from the 50's and cupboards and closets leave your clothes smelly... Good luck!
The staff have been amazi g during my move. The place is quiet, gardens are beautiful and I'm lobingvtbr spacious apartment.
Such a cute little oasis. I visited this property and it reminded me of a Spanish Oasis. The team was friendly and great to speak with.
O saw this apartment so beautiful. But yet the comments from the residents were all negative, none of them recommend it because there is burglary in the cars, the manager and the staff don't pay attention to the tenants. The laundry facilities don't all work. Poor maintenance. The apartment is not that great looking when moving in. Perfect size and price, but my husband and I decided not to give our money to this apartment. Someone leaving the corporate number so you can contact them gives me the chills that everything they are saying Is true.
